Well, I read in another thread that there is also a tiered PCE coming up in September.
The tiered discount just won't be as great as the Friends and Family, is all...now that I think about it, seems like Coach did something like that last year already. Just I didn't get one! Oops; usually get every PCE but no F&F. 30% for the Nomads is still a good deal for me!
They did ... November 2013 if I recall correctly ... at least that was the first I'd heard of it.
Has anyone heard anything at all about exclusions during either of these? (pce or f&f ?)
I know there were times in the past where Phoebe's were excluded from PCE's, then it was the Burroughs. And in a sense, the Phoebe's and Burrough's back then, are kind of like the Nomad's and Ace's are now. (But for the record, I would not expect the Nomad's or Ace's to be excluded. ... That's not what I'm saying.)
Then came the Vevers changes last autumn, with the expansion of the clothing line, the whole runway productions, and the bags featured therein. I'm referring to what the manager at my local boutique calls "the collection -- the ones that you can only rely on the flagship stores getting". That would have included the whiplash Tatum last year, I think? Also the thicker-leather Rhyders, and I think the first wave of Dakotah's.
Does anyone remember if those were exclusions? Last year? I do not personally recall any exclusions, and have been unable to find any through searching. The logical guess, then, would be "no", yet the manager I spoke with seems to think there might be.
Sorry for the backstory ... just very curious how it will play out. For the first time in, like, "ever", I'm actually interested in one of the runway bags.

I don't remember a PCE during the fall, but that's probably because I didn't buy anything. The tiered PCE in the winter had no exclusions that I can recall. I purchased the teal whiplash Tatum. I can't imagine they would exclude any styles, but it's Coach we're talking about
PCE mailers are arriving! .... Tiered; starts Sept 17 (early access of 16th for some, or at least that's what it claims); and it says exclusions may apply, but my usual SA says the stores haven't been told anything yet about exclusion details. See the PCE thread in the PCE sub-forum above.
I am torn between getting the Saddle or the Black. I like the Saddle because of the silver hardware, but a lighter color really isn't me (I am trying to break that habit). The black is classic and goes with every thing, but it has gold hardware grrr.... I really don't care for gold hardware.
I pretty much buy black and brown/tan bags. I just received the saddle from Belk today. I think the saddle is a classic brown and with the silver - WOW! It is a hard combination to find. Even though I really prefer silver hardware/jewelry - I personally like gold with black a bit better. It stands out. Good luck deciding!
I think I might venture out of my comfort zone and get the saddle. I don't like my bags to stand out. I am going to wait until next week for the Macy's VIP sale. I have a merchandise credit and zero balance on my card, so the bag will be closer in my price range. I was torn between this and the Ace. The Ace is a little too structured for my tastes. I like a bag that has a subtle slouch and will mold to you over time. Now the only thing I am going to panic over is denim transfer on the Saddle!!
