Noe with mold?

Hello everyone!
I am facing a big problem with my monogram Noe. Around two months ago I noticed a small black dot appearing in the front of the bag, in the vachetta leather. I didn’t pay much attention at that time, and kept using the bag some days a week. Today when I got the bag again, the black spots had spreaded and are in a big number now! I am suspecting of mold or bacteria, but I am afraid of needing to replace the bottom of the bag! I atravhed a photo for you to help me diagnose the problem!
I just received my year 97 noe from Japan yesterday. It has something like this (not black though, looks like speckles), I plan to use saddle soap and see if it will remove them.
Frankly, I don't mind the look (speckles always look cute to me...), but if it's gonna ruin the leather, I will try and see if I can clean it.

Help! I think I'm having the same issue with my Damier Azur Delightful. The picture shows the underside of the handle..Never noticed it so not sure how long its been. Just recently took it out of storage. Is it mold? Any suggestions how to remove it?IMG_20210415_110120.jpgIMG_20210415_110051.jpg

It does look like mould to me. Are you living in a humid environment? Is this bag vintage? Mould is not uncommon on vintage LV from Japan.

@Loges I had these show up on two chaps of a neverfull I bought preloved. It also had a bad storage smell. I used a soft white pencil eraser and that got most off, A magic eraser after that very gently. Some still there but only faint.
Do you store in a box? that's a big no no. I use dehumidifier pots on the shelf on my cupboards called Damp rid.

So I went to the LV store and the sales person said it's not mold. According to her this is a natural process and happens with some of the leather depending on the cows skin...she said it's something like freckles! Am having a hard time believing this.

If that were true then I would just leave it be..but if not I dont want mold spreading all over my other bags.

I haven't seen that and it sounds like others haven't either, so I don't necessarily believe that. I've had my SA tell me odd things to try to reassure me, but when they don't make sense, I get another opinion. I'm sure others here with more experience will chime in.

In this case, it appears to be mold. Mildew usually appears white on leather, cloth or inside bags. Harsh chemicals will kill the mold, but ruin the leather. It may be in your best interest to replace it.

Here's a video I did on cleaning mildew inside of a Louis Vuitton Toiletry 19. Hope this helps!
