As I mentioned, I'm living in my Caroline vachetta, so I don't know when I'll start using this new beauty, but I know she's there. I have a thing for metallics, but I don't like them too flashy, and I think this one is just perfect!! And as you said, a very rich color.

...and you're thinking, "Who the hell does she think she is, going out and getting another bag when she just got her coveted 70th Anniversary vachetta Caroline in pristine, brand new condition off eBay?!!!" And the truth is, I've been LIVING in my vachetta Caroline since it arrived and now I'm looking at all my beautiful spring/summer bags and wondering when I'm going to have the courage to switch into them, because I love my Caroline so much. I'd sleep with her next to my pillow at night if I didn't have a husband, two cats, and a (albeit wavering) sense of sanity.
BUT...(you knew this was coming)...I had to return an unused Kylie crossbody in saffiano leather - the mandarin orange one I revealed a bit ago - because I've never used it. I bought the Phoebe and matching wallet in mandarin orange instead, and I looked at the Kylie with its tags sitting on it and I'm thinking, "I'm never going to use that pretty little thing." So I had all intentions of returning it and walking out the door, new fall bags on display be damned.
Um...yeah, right. I put the Kylie towards this one (below). But I'm done. I swear I'm done. I HAVE to be, because now that the fall bags are coming out and I actually LIKE them - no, LOVE them (Olive turnlock Carlyle? or black? Beautiful) - I'm screwed if I don't start saving for fall. Shoot...I was really banking on NOT liking the new fall lineup under Vevers' direction.

Congratulations, things come in multiples like that, I do the same thing. I bet many of us here on tPF do. Out of curiosity what wallets are you using with the Caroline and now the Phoebe?
