That's so weird..I can't use stainless. And nailpolish wouldn't work for me..my ears disolve anything on the posts. When I've tried coated earrings before, whether they were gold coated or coated with something nickle free, my ears just disolve the metal from the posts and I have to use tweezers to pick out the metal shavings from my holes. Yuck.
There is a company out there that makes plastic post "jackets" (they are like clear plastic tubes) that you can put any earring in. I think those would work for me but I haven't tried them. They are at the bottom of this page:

I've worn plastic earrings before when my ears were already irritated and they actually helped calm my ears down. Normally if my holes were already irritated, even my titanium ones wouldn't work.
