Really it does flakes your Rockie metalic? OMG I just checked mine and so far nothing like that...and I've been using it since the day I got mine in the mail, I hope nothing like that happened in the long run, I just luv this bag in pieces:loveeyes::heart::blushing:

Oh yeah mine has a few spots on the back where the metallic finish has rubbed/come off. I'm pretty good about always carrying the same side of a bag against my body. I think it's kinda to be expected especially with how metallic this bag is. I think I read someone else post about it too in another thread.

At most I've carried it for a week straight but typically I carry it for a day or 2 then switch to something else for the work week.

Good to know thank for the info:tup: so far I've been using it for almost a month and so far nothing that I can see is chipping or something...but yeah I will definetly be more careful with my bag.

Long-time lurker, first post here! Beautiful bag :-).

Sorry for the newbie question, but this is my first Alexander Wang potential purchase and I was wondering which colour this is? I'm looking at the same bag in Carbon Metallic and elsewhere the pictures look much more of a subtle metallic, rather than straight-up silver! Is this because there are two types of silver metallic, or is it just different lighting?

Again, sorry if I'm repeating an old or obvious question!

Edit to add: I've just noticed the zip material on yours is silver/pale grey(?) rather than black - so I guess they're different bags? Have I answered my own question? :laugh:

I'm very sorry for the late reply, on your question about the color this one is straight silver all the way and it'metalic finish, and I'm not sure if there is another silver or rhodium AW that is out there, but based on my research there is different of shade on the studs at the buttom but other than that this is the only all silver hardware and silver metalic finish. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. But I hope this help you on your question:smile1:

Thanks so much for getting back to me! I ordered it (had my order cancelled twice - NEVER using Coggles again!), but luckily found the bag elsewhere and it arrived today :yahoo: - I'm in love!
