Hi, I just purchased new Pochette Metis in Reverse 41 week of 2019 and my canvas goes all the way down on the flap. I thought it was a defect so was checking here. Also the regular monogram is very faded. Don’t know if I should keep it.

I also just bought a Pochette Métis in monogram canvas which was made in the 38th week of 2019. As soon as I picked it up in store I noticed it was significantly more dull that the wallet I had with me. The canvas had almost a dry or powdery feeling to it. I asked the CA about how dull it was compared to my wallet and she just said that all the canvases are different. It bothered me a bit, but I’m just so glad to have scored this hard to get bag that I decided I don’t really care! I can always shine up the canvas with a conditioner if it really bothers me over time.

I just got one last week, it’s also more dull and grainy than my other LV items. It’s bothering me so much considering how much I paid. I put it back in the box and am going to take back to my SA and see if I can return and wait for another one. I am posting some photos of mine, and another showing the older and newer versions side by side. It’s a considerable difference. Am I crazy that this bothers me?

The photos I attached I found online. This person returned the newer one because the monogram alignment was off and she also didn’t care for the newer canvas.
I’m having a hard time getting the pictures to reflect how dull it is compared to my other pieces! IRL it’s more noticeable. My CA actually showed me another Pochette Métis which had been ordered in for another customer, so we could compare. She let me select whichever one I wanted. The other one was worse!
It looks more matte perhaps due to the rougher texture? But it doesn’t look that bad to me. Maybe looks worse irl and better in photos? What will you do?
Wow! Yours looks WAY better than mine! I am going to take some more photos of mine tomorrow in natural light before I take in to LV. I am hoping I can get a better one, even like yours! What did say you could do??
hummmm, I am following shipment of my PM reverse because I dont want that to happen, like if another one is coming and the other person gets to pick! I would be livid lol! I am driving to the store as soon as it shows delivered, whether the store calls me or not hahaha.
Probably a good idea! I had no idea they do that. I am heading to LV as soon as they open because I want first pick now if they have another one!
Yes. I noticed that too. It looks like the newer model is quite a bit bigger
Both bags measure the same dimensions, the newer version only looks bigger because the canvas is thicker making it more structured, so it’s not as soft and floppy as the older one. Which is actually a good thing. My only worry is that it would cause it to crack in the future?
