New version Panthere bracelet review

Thanks for starting this thread! Like you, I couldn’t find much info or reviews on the new panthere bracelet but I was taken with it when I tried it on at the boutique. I tossed for ages between the one headed Vs the two headed one and in the end, got the one headed one. I agree with your review. It’s smooth, sleek and curved so it’s easy to wear. Easier to take off too compared with the slim JUC which has the sharp end. There were some questions whether it is hollow. I don’t know but it feels a good weight to me. Not as thin as the slim JUC which I also love. I find it more wearable for everyday wear compared with the two headed one which I still love and still thinking of getting haha.

I posted this in the Cartier in Action thread. RG Baby Panthere stacked with my slim JUC diamonds and slim Love  I do wear it by itself on left hand with my Apple Watch too.

and also a pix of me trying on with the double headed bracelet at the boutique. I find the two headed one harder to put on cos it has more sharp corners on both sides haha. Both beautiful in their own way! I personally find the Baby Panthere looks more sleek, youthful and modern, good for more casual outfits, and good for stacking while the two headed panthere looks more majestic, dressy and eye catching. I actually like the Panthere cos it’s less common than the JUC and Love

Hi I love your stack I have a similar one and am wondering what did you for sizing I'm a 15cm at the wrist bone wear a 15 small JUC w diamonds, 16 cm love cuff, and was torn between the 15 for the new Panthere which fits snug but stacked well vs the 16 which is looser and I had to wear further down my wrist. What was it like for you?
I have the 16 Panthere pictured in my stack does it look too big should I size down more snug?BE43295C-DE97-4157-9783-67D55040B65A.jpeg7ED79A1C-4125-4347-B2E7-EFA0D84FE9D9.jpeg

Hi! I went for the 15 panthere :) I found the 16 too big for me and I also find that the panthere seems to fit slightly bigger than the JUC and Love :) Good luck with your decision! It really depends on the fit you want. It looks good fitted higher too :)

I haven’t seen much at all about this style so I thought I’d do a quick review in case anyone else was considering it. I couldn’t find much when I was thinking about getting it. I have the yellow gold version and I’ve worn mine 24/7 for about a month now. I wear it on my left hand, as a stand alone.

pros:
- It is the most comfortable of all my bracelets. Because the edges are rounded and there’s nothing to press into the skin (love screws and juc nail head, I’m looking at you) it is really, really nice to wear. It also never snags on anything, which I thought it might because of the ears. But they are rounded off.
- It can be taken off and on easily or worn all the time. I wondered initially if there would be any issues with wearing it 24/7. But the bracelet is substantial enough that I don’t worry at all about it getting out of shape (like the small JUC), despite how easy it is to take off.
- It’s not as popular, which I really like. I see lots of their other styles in the wild, but not this one.

cons:
- You’d definitely want to try it on before buying. The sizing is not like their other bracelets. I have wide wrists and my love is 20 while my juc small is a 19. The 20 in the panthere fits looser than my love with a lot of movement on my arm, but the 19 was really snug with no movement at all.
- I’m not sure it stacks as well as some of the others. I’ve tried with various other bracelets, but really prefer it on it’s own. It’s open at the top so has a tendency to move over other bracelets a bit. (But that’s totally personal preference.)
- If attention or recognition is your thing, this one won’t have the same appeal as the more popular styles. Most non-Cartier fans would never recognize it, unlike the Love which many people know.

Overall, I really love it and highly recommend at least trying it on.

Which size did you end up getting? I found the same experience. I wear a 16 in love, 15 in JUC and when I tried on the 15 it was so snug so hard to get on, the 16 was easier to put on but for some reasons felt much looser - I went back and forth for a while, but settled on the 16. Curious which you ended up picking!

Hi I have the same size bracelets, found the 15 restricted me to wearing it close to my wrist bone and I even went back to retry it, ended up sticking with the 16 the the panthere to allow some movement. Excited
Congrats on making your choice! I find my 15 initially hard to put on with my JUC and Love stack cos I was afraid of scratching them and I put it on too close to my wrist bone which hurt. But after that I realise it’s easier to put on a bit further up my arm.

I wear the Panthere closest to my hand when I stack it so I prefer it more snug. 15 is still very comfortable for me :) Pls show modelling shots of your Panthere! Did you get YG or RG?

I plan on getting a thin love in 16 to add or upsize my cuff

oh I got YG and plan to wear it solo on my Apple Watch side since it's bigger and I feel like it's less in the line of fire higher up! image.jpg

I went with the 20. There’s more movement, but because I wear it on its own, I am not worried about it banging for scratching another bracelet. It’s been months now and I still love wearing it!

Great to hear I swear I lost sleep over sizing but I knew there was no way the smaller one would work long term and i wonder how it would feel when the weather is hot!
I am so in love with it too and hope to get the necklace :)

Lovely! With the stack and with your Apple Watch! I wear my Panthere with my Apple Watch too haha tho I wear it closer to my hand. Congrats again! Looks gorgeous on you! Ps mine is RG!

For those who’ve had their Panthere for a little while, do you find that it hides scratches well, like the JUC? I’m hoping because of its rounded design, it might be less likely to show scratches.

It definitely hides them better than the love. My JUC is the small version, so I don’t really notice scratches on it.
