New VCA Lucky Animals brooches

They are now on the VCA website and there are shots of the back of the clip! As I expected, the placement of the pins are angled differently to suit each animal shape so I don't think all of them can be attached to a necklace. The ones with a more vertical profile like the owl, rabbit, dog, etc should be attachable but the squirrel and dove for example has horizontally placed pins, so I don't think they can be worn as a pendant. I could be wrong so make sure you check with the store if the animal you love can be attached!

They are so cute. I am not really sure because there are so many VCA pieces on my wishlist! Firstly I don’t usually wear brooches so I don’t know how much wear I will get from it (although I’ve always admired those who do because they look so chic and ladylike). Secondly I think if I were to wear one, I’d prefer the rose de Noel brooch since the design will last me through to old age. Thirdly, I think brooches are more suited to colder weather attire such as coats. Where I am the weather is warming up and heading towards summer. I don’t know how well these brooches will hang on thin summer blouses as they do have a tiny bit of weight on them. However... even with all the negatives in my head, I adore the owl and the bunny! The rabbit has a special significance for me so it will always hold a special place in my heart. If I were to choose on just design alone I’d go for the owl. It’s just so cute!

Sadly, you will have to order them now and takes about 3-6 months. My store wasnt one of the stores that showcased them so our SAs didnt even get to see it. And theyre all sold out!

I was thinking the same. I love brooches but have no clue how to wear them. The photo of the owl on this thread is just perfection. Not sure if I could do it though, for fear of losing my brooch.
The VCA website has some very cool ideas for wearing brooches. I wear them often and never fail to get compliments. Would love to get two medium size rose de noel brooches...in each color

Here are a few more mod shots...alas, not of me. 
Oooh, owl and hummingbird are gorgeous! I have to say I don't think I'd get much wear out of brooches except on a winter coat. Actually I have used a brooch to secure/style dresses before, such as gathering part of a skirt or neckline.
Another thought is as a scarf ring. You can use either an invisible hair tie or a tie that blends in with the scarf and then pin the brooch on to the tie so as not to cause any holes in a silk scarf
