I don't think Balenciaga stores accept returns, they only issue store credit.

not return, but exchange for another one---hayyyy, I wonder how to do the shipping and insurance back and forth, and if we have to do the tax/customs on my part--and to think that I gave my brother a list, itemizing what the bag should come with like the mirror, sample swatch, paper tags, etc. and to check for thick leather, no scratches on bottom corners etc.--who would have thought of checking the rivets! Sorry if I am going on and on-- just that my 3rd Bbag but 1st time to buy from the Balenciaga boutique itself--got 2 rggh pt from resellers which were perfect...am just so disappointed and angry and just want to vent:(

Pic of 1 rivet with 4 notches on my 2011 Black Velo Rh bought in Balenciaga boutique on George Avenue, Paris. The other 3 rivets have the normal 2 notches each.

It looks fine. Just a quality control oversight. Since you bought it from a Bal boutique, it's definitely authentic.

Just wanted to add I think the 4-notched rivet looks really unique and makes the bag one of a kind. If you like the bag, I think you should keep it. :smile1:
