I had taken a vacation day today for an event in NYC so I thought I’d take advantage of being at the new store at opening. They had a ribbon cutting ceremony and took some pictures of the Meatpacking District team.
I think I was just a little excited and got there way too early so I ended up being the first customer through the door. Actually I was the only one there until about 10:30am. As I had to be back up around Times Square at noon, I unfortunately didn’t have much time to truly appreciate the experience as I would’ve liked.

I got there right around 11:10am and it was already jam packed with customers! I was still one of the first to see the entire assortment of small leather goods and rodeos (full stable alert!). I wasn’t looking for a bag as I already had my quota filled for the season, however my friend scored a C18 in Rose Sakura PHW! I had not seen this combo on a constance before, so that’s a real treat!
B/K/C boxes were zooming everywhere in the store so people had been massively getting offered quota bags this morning, very desirable options I saw being offered / rung up (the labels on boxes were very cosible) - B30 Etain, B30 Etoupe, B25 Noir, K25 Bleu electrique sellier, K25 beton retourne, C24 Etain, C24 rose extreme, also tons of Evelyne TPM and Picotin 18cm ranging from neutrals to bright verso combos! There are no VIP rooms at this store location so bags are offered in public!
My mini scores today - rodeo MM, rodeo verso PM, Calvi in rose Sakura, Calvi in rose lipstick! By the time I left the store there are only 2 GM sizes rodeos left (from approx 20 this morning)!
And my friend’s C18 in rose Sakura!

I asked if there were any grand opening items for the store but I was told they some items that were store specific but didn’t think they had anything for the opening. I might have missed it though.

It didn’t seem like a lot of people were there when they opened the doors but it soon was packed in the leather goods section which isn’t very large.

I was excited to attend the opening but literally had only 10 minutes to shop once they let us in the store. I’ve been on the lookout for a couple of things: a So Black Rodeo and a colorful Evie TPM. I have been trying for the rodeo for the last few months but with no luck so I thought a new store might be my shot. Being the first through the doors I made a beeline for the leather goods. The first SA I saw I asked and he said he thought they had a couple so what size? Turns out that they had 1 PM and 1 GM so I grabbed the PM. I still can’t believe that I finally found one! 
Still tight on time but couldn’t help but ask about what kind of availability they had for TPMs. Couldn’t resist this happy color.
