The new leather is firmer but sadly looks like a thin layer of leather over cardboard not how leather should be abs it won’t stay looking good with use substance over form I’m afraid being back the classics don’t remake them

Mulberry used to make many of the old styles in China, and some in Turkey and Spain, this isn’t anything new.
I think people are dissatisfied because this is a collection that’s celebrating mulberry‘s heritage and they are a company that supposedly pride themselves on “British Craftsmanship“ yet so far none of that collection is manufactured in the UK ... that seems at odds with what they are claiming to celebrate...
Unfortunately it’s almost £900, not £700... really not seeing how it’s worth that given the size.
I didn’t like the leather it didn’t seem as rich in quality as my previous purchases.
It was really light in weight whereas the strap was heavy and sturdy.
I didn’t mind the size I definitely would have kept it if the leather was better quality.
Roxy is reason I fell in love with Mulberry. Love the mini but not gonna buy another bag. Instead took out my Rosemary and put a guitar strap on it. Not quite mini but works for me.
I too was excited for this anniversary collection but micro bags are useless to me and if they are not made in the UK then it's hardly a celebration of their British heritage, as others have said.
I have three heritage Bayswaters all made in the UK and one Bayswater crossbody satchel made in Turkey. It's obvious the UK-made ones have thicker, better quality leather than the Turkey-made bag. I also have a clutch/wallet with no "made in" label so I assume it was probably made in China.
Mulberry can't position itself as a luxury label if it's manufacturing most goods in low-cost countries - instead, they should have a "made in the UK" line of limited runs each year; that would be special and would encourage me to buy from them again.
