I came across this image from a bag lover I follow in Singapore. It appears to show a reissue of the Roxanne. I’m not sure if this has been announced elsewhere (I don’t see it on the Mulbs website) or if it’s authentic, but thought I’d share. Perhaps more reissues on the way for the 50th anniversary? They refer to it an Icon Edition 2021

It will be interesting to see what else gets released. I was only saying to my daughter last week that I really fancy a bright coloured bag rather than black or taupe… and a bright pink mini Alexa appears !

The first drop of the 50th anniversary collection is online now ... I’m disappointed because not a single one of the bags is made in the UK.... um hello? You’re supposed to me celebrating 50 years of a brand that has British craftsmanship at its heart. They’ve once again went price over substance on this!

That’s disappointing , where does it list where they have been manufactured?

If you go onto the item page there are 3 tabs - description- details - responsibility, click on the responsibility... then it tells you where the leather is sourced ... not where the bag is made. Every bag that mulberry make in England they put “this bag was made by our mulberry crafts people in our carbon neutral factories in Somerset, UK“... for example look at the mini Alexa bags.... in the section like I told you, then look at the regular Alexa’s ... the minis are made abroad the regulars are the UK... they do the same with all of their bags... that’s why some heritage Bayswater’s are £995 and others are £1095... one is UK made, the other isn’t.

No I agree with you, it’s not a 100% but it’s something I’ve noticed a lot of in recent years, very few of any of the cheaper mulberry bags (under £1000) are made in the UK now. It’s simply not cost effective for them. I’ve been a mulberry customer for many years and I find it disappointing that some of their “iconic British” bags are not even manufactured in the UK anymore Even though they continue to sell themselves as a British luxury goods manufacturer.

All of the small zipped bayswaters I’ve ever seen have been made abroad (Turkey and China) and the small soft Bayswater’s that were brought out before Christmas (used to be the Bayswater satchel) - I’ve looked at 7 of them in various places and they were all made in Turkey. Worst case you could always buy one and try your luck, if not then return it.
