Seems like they are adding a lot of colour to the perlee line and some new designs are coming

When my SA sent this pic to me, I was initially so disappointed but then I looked closer and I am really enamored by the 5 row rings especially the one with rubies. If done right, these can be showstoppers in my opinion. Did anything stand out to you? @Ylesiya

My SAs did not even send this to me haha. I only fight with them, not having a great time and great purchases. Thought luxury shopping had to be satisfying LOL!

I love the 5 row rings. I would like to see the ruby ring and if the rubies are blood red I will be seriously tempted. The only thing which is making me errrr is the price point. Add tax and for this price I think I can find a decent unheated ruby rather than a few tiny blobs. If I am offered to try, I definitely will. Emeralds can also look great if they are rich green but again - for this price I know where to get a decent colombian emerald. I totally know VCA is not about the cost of materials but personally I am twitching in this particular case.
Another thing which caught my eye are the lapis and coral necklaces - I would definitely have a look and try on just because I like the stones.
Hoops are a big no - feels like VCA has been smoking something really strong while coming up with those prices!

my understanding is the lapis and coral pendants are very limited...who knows?

+1 with @DS2006 and others above. Not crazy about any of this except maybe the oval earrings and possibly a watch . I actually prefer the older perlee designs. I also think the prices seem much higher. I might ask my SA to see one of the watches if I like the colors in person. Im still looking for thr right gold watch and think I would prefer jewelry that is a watch rather than a watch brand. Re turquoise, VCA may say it’s rare, but plenty of premier jewelry brands seem to have it, so I wonder if it’s just a way to encourage people to buy other things (I read an article luxury brands want clients to come in person to do just that). I do like estate jewelry but this seems to be phoning it in. Maybe it will look a lot better in real life?

Omg I laughed so hard at the ‘VCA smoking something really strong’ bit @Ylesiya … I feel like they were really slaying with their designs a couple of years back and now they are just releasing new pieces without much thought to what their clientele wants. Btw, hoping for dark red rubies on the ring too!

Well, I think they have been doing it for a while already... They don't have a nice source of turquoise or lapis but they do seem to have a reliable source of whatever they smoke! That one is not limited!
I think my first shock was Zodiac series, those big pendants... I saw them in real life and while they are heavy, that's still not an excuse for an astronomical price tag IMHO. Nothing really taking the breath away. Stones used are with a lot of inclusions although described as "oh, it's a constellation really". Nah, what it is really is a cheap stone at a high price.

With this new perlee line on one hand I am happy to see the new inventory and on the other hand I am meh about pricing in terms of value for money. I was trying to think why I am ok to pay this amount for let's say 20 motif with tiger eye but having so much hesitation against the new release?

I am maybe wrong but when I am buying alhambra I see carved stones (it takes a lot of effort to shape the stones into clovers) placed into this intricate setting, plus it is such a timeless design that it makes a statement at any occasion. When I look at my pure collection, I am always having my breath taken away by the way how the clovers are polished and shaped - it's a real damn work of art! Not regretting even one nano second! (except for the ****ty service haha :graucho:)

With this new line I don't know if these rings will become timeless and it's like - ok, almost every brand and every store has tiny round stones - what's so special about having them and setting them?

Please don't get me wrong I actually like the rings, I just tried to describe what's going on with my gut feeling so to say. If I had money which I don't know where to use, then yeah baby, but I would think twice or thrice before making such a commitment. Also the designs are a bit of a repetition of vintage perlee series - guys, can you come up with something new and original?..
