Hi everyone,

Purchased a new Neverfull GM, lining upgrade, apparent reinforced trim blah blah blah 10 days ago, used it twice and my handles are like this :confused1: Now I’ve owned many a neverfull (sell on when they get a bit used looking) and I’ve never had handles wear so quickly. Have they done something to the glazing? I’m not precious about my bags but this looks dire for being used two times.

It’s a bog standard Monogram. I’ve contacted them to see what they say. It’s like the glazing is nearly away on all sides of the handles. I sense as it was purchased duty free it will be a repair at best :mad:

Did you use it carry heavy stuff, like laptop?

My handles did this and my store gave me a new bag and sent the bag to Paris for "research." This was before Covid tho. Since then all these companies seem to be greedy messes but I hope they take care of you!

Thanks for the responses. I’ve not been able to get to a store. Didn’t put anything heavy in it at all. Was just using it as an every day bag to develop the patina before my holiday!

Heavy things wouldn't matter, definitely a material issue. A store credit should be given in this instance given how new it is. @BULL ever seen this happen?

I've seen this lots of times, not a rare sight, but Neverfull handles almost always show this level of wear at least after a year of use. Sometimes the edge paint is a little more durable, sometimes a little less, some people wear more abrasive clothes, some less, also some people handle them more gently, but no matter which of these is the case, this level or wear after a few days is absolutely unusual. They should exchange it immediately.

I had this EXACT problem last year with a new (from LV online) Neverfull mono GM. I sent mine to London for review (I don't live near a store) and they sent it to Paris and it came back with brand new handles that did not have the rough edges. It is definitely a fault and LV should rectify it for you.

they do not, i got my mono gm in 2019 my handles still look great, this is a problem of last 2 years.
