Sort of but the marignan lock is part of the clasp where the vaugirard lock isn’t so I think it’s noisy. I have the marignan and like it much better!
I bought it this weekend after trying on *many* bags, to replace my defective Pochette Metis. Yes, the front flap is busier than the Marignan but I preferred the Vaugirard because it's smaller and can be carried with more versatility at my height (5'1). The Marignan is a little too bulky for me to carry crossbody. I also liked the two-tone strap on the Vaugirard. I kind of think of it as the Marignan's smaller, funkier cousin.
It's a beautiful bag but I really need to play around with it a bit to know whether I am keeping it or not. I totally forgot to fill it when I was shopping and I don't know if I'll have the same problem as @smudleybear.

I think it looks like a cute bag, but the two shades of leather really bothers me.
Not going to lie, it sort of bugs me, too (it looks like fresh vachetta, but it's cream), but it isn't a deal-breaker. And it makes more sense when the crossbody strap is on, since it's cream on the under-side.

So weird, it totally looks like vachetta in the pics! It gets one more star for no vachetta, but still the mixes of leather lately can go bye bye IMO. Would love to see it on you with the long strap!

Some more pics. I think I really like this bag! Here are some photos of the bag on the shoulder, crossbody, and in the last photo, held so you can see the cream on the underside of the strap. I think this makes a great sub for my old Métis Pochette.

I bought the red one last Friday - I just love the pop of red color. I prefer this one over the Marignan. I am also short (5'1). When I tried on the Marignan last year, I felt like I was carrying a computer bag . I do like this one a lot.
