When I'm feeling festive I'll add a LV bag chain to my Speedy 25 b. My NF is in DA and it usually has a Laduree macaron charm clipped on. It reminds me of my travels in Paris. I also have a white mink puff ball and a black mink puff ball that were made from my mother's old mink coats that I'll pop on other bags. IMO, bag charms are a fun way to personalize your bags.
You could always look into the preloved market. LV bag charms don't hold their value as well as the bags so there are decent deals to be had. I got a Fleur de Monogram chain from Fashionphile for what at the time was about half of the retail price. (Be careful, though. I accidentally bought a fake from Poshmark, but it was obvious upon inspection and I had no problems returning it.)
I bought several Vivienne charms on Yahoo Japan auction. They do pop up some great deals. I used Buyee to get them shipped to me/
I’m a sucker for bag charms. Though I’d recommend getting one secondhand (like fashionphile) unless it’s something that makes your heart sing.
