The model is holding a clutch with lipstick in it. You could also presumably stuff cash into the bag but it would look awkward.

That ia tiny!! Much smaller than I imagined. So sad, looks like I will have to pass on this one
So I just received a random email from Kate Spade and they gave me a refund back for the bag. it's really frustrating because I was short changed thirty dollars. I won't be able to get the clutch at all from the website. The lady over the phone representing Kate Spade told me that customs had taken a hold of the bag and did not cross into Canadian borders.
This is both a frustration and a relief for me.
Frustrating: having to deal with being ripped of of thirty dollars and the lack fo reason or contact for not having it delivered, as I was looking forward to it since it was really cute.
Relief: the bag wasn't going to fit much, and the way it opens, it looks like stuff can fall out of it because there's not safety net for the items (unlike something like their shell wicker basket, people can see my credit card and debit card number if i don't store it into mini card wallet of some sort. I was also wondering how a person would store tampons and pads in there as well... actually.
Blessing in disguise? Most likely. I also asked for an additional discount of fifteen percent on future products on their store for this conflict. Also, that particular lady wasn't very friendly but hopefully her life gets better, she just sounded miserable over the phone.
