I’m pretty sure my next purchase will be the new Ivy, once my SA gets ahold of it from somewhere. My store hasnt still gotten a single piece of that.. but i have a hope she can source it somewhere quite quickly.

Has it been a popular release?
Do you have it? What do you think of it, pros and cons?
About the strap, is it the same that Loop has, and in longest Setting long enough to Wear crossbody?

I want to know everything and see all the photos!

Thank you in advance, my fellow Lvoers ā¤ļø
Did you get one? Mine fits crossbody - it has the same strap as the NeoNoe

I had to pull my dune Ivy out and look at it because I was getting worried!!
It seems like mine has these strange cuts too. So as I inspected it maybe it was intentional? It looks ok on the back when closed. I am definitely going to watch it 🄲

I love this little bag in the dune and use it at least once a week because I love the color ā¤ļø
It’s an easy bag to carry and lays nice, I haven’t used the black strap but use a vachetta strap from my mini bumbag.
It doesn’t fit much but I use the zipper part as my makeup bag and it will fit a small wallet and little pouch.
It’s definitely a favorite 😊

Hi,
I just purchased the Dune Ivy last night! 🤩 I love the collection and this was the bag I wanted most from it… I was told there were only 11 left in the country and one left in my state, so I thought I better spring on it before too late!! I saw in the boutique that it does already have those little niches cut out in the canvas on both sides - so I do believe they did that deliberately to address and prevent cracking. I know cracking on canvas is always going to be a potential concern, but I feel like the Dune is a newer addition and since they already adapted the design for the style, I hope it won’t be an issue. The early models of Pochette MĆ©tis had tons of reported cracking issues but I got the later Reverse Monogram and I’ve had it 4 years now with no signs of cracking. My SA said she hadn’t seen any come back and it’s been extremely popular!
Thank you for the information, this was helpful cause i just purchased this as well and was wondering should I keep..This was a beautiful collection indeed..

Is this problem only on the canvas versions? I am looking at getting the black empreinte one.
I have the ivory Empreinte and it is also cut and sewn the same way. I am unfazed about it; to be honest, to me it feels like the little carvings into the fold of the leather removes bulk and reduces stress on the surrounding stitches but I am not a leatherworker so I could be completely wrong. Also since leather is supple, I can just smudge a dab of leather conditioner if I start worrying it might tear...

Those cuts are by design. Without them the external material would have a serious crease when folded like that. So in reality, they are easing stress on a potential stress point with them. Clever. Don't worry about them. Cracking is more likely to appear elsewhere.

It looks the same on all Ivy bags, it’s just how the canvas is sewn. Have had mine in mono since July and worn it a lot. It holds up beautifully, without any issues. Hope that helps. :flowers:
Hi my dear, I know this is already an older thread, but I was just contemplating if the ivy on chain might be a nice choice for the cerises collection? How are you still liking yours? I actually would love the Pochette Metis East West more, but that one is just so insanely expensive… 🄲

Hi lovely! I’m glad that you’re asking. :flowers: I typically wear my Ivy as my vacation bag, and once in a while I take her out to city tours or dinners. I’m still loving her a lot (she’s definitely one of my favorite small bags in my collection). Up to now, she shows no signs of wear on canvas, and has just some tiny greyish spots on the vacchetta tabs below the d-rings, where the chain is rubbing while carrying the bag (but actually you can nearly completely remove them by gently rubbing vaccheta with your finger). I’ll definitely buy Ivy again if I wouldn’t have one in my collection. So I can fully recommend this bag!
The one from the cherries collection looks so beautiful :girlsigh: I have considered her too, but as I already have a lot of white or light-colored bags, which I hardly ever wear, I promised myself to stay strong. And I agree with you on the prices, the cherries collection is so crazy expensive … would love to know yours thoughts on the Ivy and whether you decided to go for one! Have a nice Sunday evening :hbeat:

Thank you dearie for your answer! 😘

I like the white canvas/cherry print more that I would have thought and would love a piece of that for my collection. My first choice would actually be the speedy 30, but that one is just too expensive for me. Second I love the Pochette Metis EW, but again very expensive. Never had the Ivy on chain on my radar before as I am a medium to big bag girl. But actually sometimes a small bag for vacation or a night out is still something I could use. I only considered the Ivy actually because of the more affordable price. And looking into its reviews it actually does look cute and is quite versatile with the different handles it comes with! I always have the impression it looks a bit unfinished somehow because it has a quite simple design, but that is also something I think works in favor for it as it works as a casual day bag or as an fun evening bag. So I definetely consider getting one in the cherry print!
How do you find the space it provides? I think I read on of your always very informative posts that it fits a bit less than the PA, which is not so much for me… šŸ˜… Does it pop open easily when stuffed?

You are very welcome, hun! I can fully relate regarding the cherries collection in general and Ivy in particular :girlsigh:
Mine never pops open when stuffed because the magnet is very strong. It’s a secure closure! Regarding the space, it fits less than PA but more then Felicie. I usually put my phone into the zipped pocket on the front (which I leave open) and carry a cardholder, keypouch with keys, maybe a tissue, chewing gum and two lip products in the main compartment. Hope that helps! Can’t wait to read whether you would give the cherry Ivy a chance!

It could be me written your post! Hahaha. I'm also doubting for the cerises Ivy as I like the white background and I think this is a reasonable option from the collection. But somehow I also feel like the bag isn't "finished" as the design is so basic. I don't mean it in a negative way because usually I do like basic bags but kind of wish there was a button on the outside too to give it some hardware shinyness?

Anyway let me know if you get it! :D I'm curiously awaiting some HD pics and/or modshots.
