Mine is the size large. It's not really too big at all. It's about the size of the selma.
I was in a MK store recently and found out that this bag is coming out in a burgundy color in the fall. Has anyone else heard that? If so, I think it'll be my b'day present to myself.
Yes, it's in (some) stores now - I posted my own pics about 10 days ago? I didn't buy one - the pics are from the boutique. Hardware I saw is silver. Here's one pic sbs with dark chocolate version.
MK has also come out with a "med" size which is about an inch smaller and then there's the cross body of course. The "large" Hamilton Traveler is a medium sized bag but a "good" useful size. It's a bit smaller than I'm used to carrying but I know it would be fine. I've gotten used to carrying big handbags to XL, kwim?
Ladies, if you like this bag and are looking for something bigger than large, take a look at the large Miranda tote. It is also calfskin leather (with a gorgeous suede interior) and has wings, but isn't as structured as the Hamilton Traveler. It has a 7 inch depth, so is humongous. No lock detail, but it has a flap closure with strap ties that have metal tips (i.e., a bit of hardware). I'll be using my Miranda tote as my XL summer travel bag (flight carry-on & beach bag).
I received my Black Hamilton Traveller today from Amazon. It's a beautiful bag with a lovely minimal design. It's not big though. In terms of handbags, I'd call it a size "medium". My normal Hamilton tote is bigger.
The leather is soft though so more care needs to be taken than when using a saffiano bag. All in all, I'm very happy with the new bag. Can't wait to take it to work tomorrow.

Yea - this one is classic. It caught my eye too! I brought in my RM winter grey mam to make the comparison the next day - sigh, different bag but very similar colourwise, hardware wise and leather wise. I do want it though.
When I was in MK boutique, the SA called this pearl grey but now that it's up on MK website, I see its real name is Heather Grey.
