Michael Kors New Fall MK bags

I was at my store yesterday. They said they will be receiving the new bags on Wednesday. I can't go out there, but my favorite SA said she would hold the medium slate croc Hamilton for me if they get it in. They might not get it though. They had wallets in the new indigo and claret color. I love the indigo. I might get a Hamilton in the indigo.

Now I am asking myself how many Hamiltons someone needs. I might be up to 3 or 4 after these new colors come out. :shame:

I hear ya - I'll be up to # 3 if I get the distressed one. I'm thinking about the bigger one just to change things up a bit. But I'll probably end up with the medium.

I think if I get the indigo, I am getting the bigger one. I have seen several now that are broken in. If they are not glazed at all (like the slate croc one is) they break in nicely and look smaller. I have noticed that my medium one almost looks too small now that it is broken in.

I also noticed that they will have a medium N/S tote instead of just the medium E/W satchel. It would be perfect but they took the chain strap off and use a detachable crossbody strap that is plain (no chain) and it hooks to the front of the bag instead of the side. If they had just left the strap alone, this would have been the perfect size/shape.

That does look like a fantastic size but I NEED the gold hardware!!!! Esp on the distressed - I love the gold on it!!! And why no chain strap - just doesn't make sense. I hope they aren't trying to go cheap on these!!!! Sheesh. Please MK - I NEED this size with gold HW and the chain strap on the distressed!!!!

I know! Just when I think they have come up with the perfect solution to the size issue, they take away the nice chain strap! I think they wanted to satisfy the people that wanted a detachable strap, but to me that one just looks odd.

And seriously - how hard is it to make the chain strap detachable? Sheesh.

Well let's check in with each other when we start to see all of these in person. Won't be till the end of August for me. Can't wait though - I haven't been this excited about a bag in a long time - hope it doesn't disappoint - but MK rarely does!!

I'm still loving that slate lizard jet set tote but the dimensions are 11" x 10". I'm thinking that's a pretty small tote--more like a "tote-ette"?

Jast an FYI-- the slate lizard jet set medium has already sold out online. They just added the large version and they have less than 20 in stock. Wow. I love the pattern-- it is different without being over the top.

bummer, no dillards around these parts at all. the closest is nordies, saks and macys..guess I'll either have to patient or be okay with paying for return shipping

The return shipping to MK isn't too bad. I just ordered from them and on the packing slip they include a smart label for returns. If you use it, they just deduct 9.95 from your return amount.

personally i like the all leather strap better than the chain :ninja: i think the cost of the distressed leather is more than regular leather actually..
