some of these designs are cute...but overall I really want to start a petition to ...BRING FRIDA BACK!!!
I loved her bags so. I liked Gucci before her, but fell IN LOVE with Gucci while she lead the brand creatively.
Yes!!! I have looked through this whole thread and other than the brogue shoes I don't see anything that is screaming "buy me". I hate the bugs & blooms and the bags seem...ok. I like the hardware on the Dionysis. So I'm hopeful something more will come out of that but...
Maybe something will jump out at me when I see them in stores but for now I'm going to pass on Gucci for fall. 😰 Perhaps this is time to look at some preowned versions of older bags I love.
I like the Dionysus with the floral print... I'm someone who have never considered anything from Gucci other than the bamboo top which is a classic.
Tried the smaller size at the boutique today. My goodness, it's so heavy due to the hardware (chain, buckle and suede leather I guess). It certainly is well made and feels substantial, well worth its price tag though.
I was carrying a boy Chanel in the new medium size and commented that the bag is heavy. the SA asked if my boy Chanel is heavy, I said it weighs less even when filled. I handed my bag over to him, he held for a while and agreed.
I still like it a lot but to me it's simply too heavy. Perhaps I am not used to heavy bags.

Interesting to hear. I think I would be more worried if the chain wasn't heavy, must have stuck to plated brass which is top Q. My vintage Chanels have chains that weigh a ton, especially on the large backpack.
I received the very pretty catalogue devoted just to the Dionysus, I think it's a great bag but I've yet to see it in person.
Unfortunately, I like the all-embroidered version with the snake, not so sure about the colour of the blue suede for all-year round though, seems more SS to me.
So far (and perhaps unexpectedly) the shoes impress me most. They look interesting but wearable. A pair of the clogs are a must (I have a thing for quirky footwear) maybe another pair too, the eel loafers are pretty....and I'd also like something from the Bloom collection.
The brogue heels are fantastic but too high for me, and the flats toooooo flat. Pre-owned and vintage is a great way to go for Gucci, so many designs to choose from.
I tried the large Dionysus bag with the blossom design in the boutique last week Thursday (on a short vacation and naturally I had to stop by the Gucci store) and it is a beautiful bag in person. Lots of attention to detail went into creating this bag. I find the small to be a bit too small. It would be nice to have a bag that's in between the large and small sizes.
If I had the funds, it would be tempted to purchase the Dionysus bag. I'm probably the odd person out as I actually don't mind the new direction Allessandro is envisioning for Gucci.

Thanks Ghstdreamer & allyloupuppy! I will do a reveal once I've got them. It says it will ship between 16/07 and 20/07. So i guess it will be here in one week and a half (but i hope sooner) can't wait!!

I saw some of the new Gucci bags today, and they were gorgeous. I love the bucket and flap bags. They are on my wish list. 
The men's Dionysus bag in orange suede looks VERY intriguing! I think it may be the pick of the bunch!
