New Coach Marine Color....anyone seen it?

Just got my Marine Rogue 25 and couldn’t be happier with the color! I don’t know why it’s not more popular, but goodie for me because it was 40% off! It really changes in different lights...goes from a light blue to a medium-dark washed-out turquoise. Here are pics in various lighting, and with my main wardrobe colors - gray, olive, denim.

That looks like a really nice blue. Not too pastel, yet not too dark.

Those are the best pictures I've seen of this shade, and it looks beautiful! I love this color range, but the deeper/brighter versions work best for me. I need to see this one in real life. Enjoy!

Thanks for this- I was wondering the same! Couldn't tell from the website, and remember not liking it that much in person on an Edie or something earlier this season. Just pulled the trigger too!!!

I know I was so anxious to see the pieces but blah comes to mind. Cloud was prettier.

I posted in other threads but here is my Marine Rogue 25.

Oops! Crosby Drivers. The colour is much too close for me to consider owning both a Steel Blue and a Marine bag. They aren't identical, but they're in the same family and would serve the same purpose to me.

This is my pond Mandy at least I am almost positive that was the name of the color anyone else sure ?
This is confusing me, as I went through something similar trying to figure out what the dark denim/ denim/steel blue was. I really wish we had a color swatch library on this forum, wouldn't that be helpful?!!!

Back to this question. I still haven't seen Marine in person. Which more accurately represents the color? If it's the less vibrant one, I can cross it off my list.

In my opinion it's the less vibrant one. I was so excited to see it when it came out as I said earlier in the thread but in person it personally didn't wow me.
Thank you for this. I was so close to ordering, buy did a Google image search and saw the dull color. That would have been disappointing.

Now...what to order...

That's odd, since I would have said the deeper one on the right, hands down! It's not like the cornflower blue at all. You can always return it if it's not the right shade-

Well darn haha. Maybe I'll order just to see then. Decisions...
I first noticed the difference trying to customize a clutch. The shade really impacts my decisions on the color of the heart.

It’s not as vibrant and intense as the right one, but not as “blue” and “dull” like the left one either. I only have the rogue in Marine and different leather takes on color differently. However, if you want a vibrant color, you might not like the marine color. I personally love it! It’s the perfectly muted light-medium green blue color (looks more green than most of the pictures from Coach website). But maybe you can order it first and see in person to decide whether you like it or not, you can always return or exchange if you don’t like it.

It is a hard color to describe and to determine if you really like it. I should like the color as I have a lot of turquoise and blue variants in my home, however there was something about the Marine Rogue that just didn't speak to me at all. I kept thinking I should love the color, but I just didn't for some reason. I can't really say why because I am not sure myself.

I COMPLETELY understand- once I customized a Freitag bag, which came COMPLETELY not the shade or even close, to my screen. To this day I haven't carried it- I should give it to someone, but the amt of time and thought I put into it is heartening.

Exactly!!! It's very green-blue, but also dark pastel. EVERYTHING else in my wardrobe is either vibrant or black/gray/dark metallic, so I totally understand what you mean. I do love this particular shade though- it's quite unusual, and not 'loud'. But definitely not 'blah'!!! (Like I think the cornflower is.. )

I think it depends on the leather, too. The rogue shows to be lighter than the one on the right. I'd say like a washed turquoise color with a tinge of grey undertone. I'm loving it!
Exactly!!!

That's funny, bc Marine on the Edie I HATED!!! On the 25, I love!!! I admit I've kept it in its packaging for two weeks, but the more I look at it, the more I think it's gorgeous!
