I was merely stating that they are not so hard to get and that the SA's tend to lie sometimes. Nothing more. I messaged tabby and we had a chat and it wasn't the bag i passed on so please keep your rude opinion to yourself. Not fake at all, very happy for her! I'm just a bit strange in that i like it to be still in the original wrapping but i get thats not everyones taste.

that's how i interpreted your comment. but i do agree with you re: ease to get m/l size, SA's trying to cinch in the sale, and original wrapping. it's all true and valid points. i just didn't want to take anything away from OP's excitement, esp if she doubts and thinks she bought a floor model that's been tried on so many times i.e. rejected. that's all. :smile:

I was in London in August 2016 and I looked for this exact bag for 1 week, at multiple locations. I was offered a gorgeous Gold hardware version but it was this combo, Silver hardware, I really wanted so I held my breath and passed on the Gold.

I wasn't able to secure one. Only one model of it came in one morning at a Harrods and it was sold by the time I inquired in the afternoon. I do not know if Chanel was having trouble restocking their Silver hardware supplies but I can tell you for sure, it was hard to get one and I was unsuccessful. I got one back in Canada and had to pay like $1000 more. :(

Enjoy your bag. When London locations have shipments, they might have stock available for more than one customer. It's still a very hard item to get a hold of worldwide, and yours is indeed especially pretty one.

First of all, you got great customer service and good first experience service perspective - how great is that compared to all the horror stories?
Many people can't find a good classic either because 1) leather is too dull/plastic looking 2) quilts are so flat looking/deflated, 3) has problems with stitching/scratch/dents/wrinkles, etc you name it... 4) the color of the black is not "deep" enough, etc etc.
Your bag is very deep shiny black caviar that has very puffy quilts. If it doesn't have any quality problems, I would certainly not mind anything else.
Congrats and enjoy this gorgeous M/L. it's so versatile I'm sure it'll be one of your most loved Chanel pieces no matter how many more you add in the future. for sure. :tup: :flowers:

Not just to humor you... I have well too many Chanel bags, more than I am wiling to admit for sure... :p I am EXTREMELY picky and I have a M/L caviar with SHW and I think yours is puffier and just as shiny deep dark color. Look :smile: I don't think it gets much better than what you got. Use it lots with ease, love... because it does go with EVERYTHING! :happydance:
