I spray vachetta with Collonil Nanospray. It does not darken or change the vachetta at all and then it darkens less fast.
My vachetta pieces on my Speedys have been aging nicely with this protective spray despite heavy use and not paying much attention to the leather.
I love this strap too is very neutral and can use it with my reverse PMCongrats on this beauty! She looks amazing. Love this strap color!
I tried to make some photos in proper light. So this is my Mon Monogram Speedy B 30, I got it spring 2015. Have sprayed everything once with Collonil Nanospray and since have used it heavily. It is my usual to go bag for travels and flights and I don‘t pay to much attention to baby it and also got it into rain and snow several times as I live in Germany.
Patina is honey. I just see that it has slight rain residue, probably should re-spray it again.
I have to add, I also have never cleaned it afterwards. Probably should do that. The photo shows much more than you see in real life…

Nvm. Can’t find the right pic. But I use apple guard. I wear my bag in rain all the time. No issues.

I live in Germany and we don‘t have Apple Guard here, that is why I use Collonil as I read years ago that people had good experiences with that. Since then I spray everything with it and it works fine.
I let it dry 24h without touching it after spraying it.
