What do you guys think about this bowling bag in 'Antique' Nappa leather? And its sister with the front zipped pocket? I'm glad to see a Prada bag made of the lovely Nappa leather, although I don't know how it compares to the old Nappa. But the prices! :girlshocked: $4,500 and $4,800 currently for the small bowling bag and the one with the pocket respectively. Especially considering that a very similar small bowling bag made of Saffiano leather is 'only' $2,950. For some reason, the Medium Nappa bag is the same price as the Small one, $4,500. I love the Slate Gray and Sage Green colors.

Hm. When I saw the first pic of the gray bag, I thought it was much bigger, a weekender - for this size I thought the leather would look great. Then I realized the bags are much smaller, and there is much more going on with the crinkles. Not a fan...not an anti fan.

These remind me of the Givenchy Pepe leather. Perhaps a bigger size will be released sometime later? Big bags are coming back, from what I understand

would you still carry the washed buffalo bag I posted? I love that it's lined in leather but I haven't used her much lately
I certainly wood. Brown isn't my color, but I think it suits the bag nicely; I'd love to have that bag in black or gray. I like the slouchiness and, of course, exterior pockets are always nice to have. It's not trendy, yes. But who cares, really? And it might just be coming back into fashion, since we seem to be moving from small bags to large ones.

this isn't a large bag to me - more medium or medium/large. but I should probably keep it. I may never get another Prada and they don't line them in leather anymore (as far as I know).
thanks :)

Oh, definitely keep it! What's the resale value on these anyhow? I don't think it's worth it selling an old Prada like this one unless one really needs the money. Regarding leather interior, however, - actually, these new bowling bags have Nappa leather inside and outside!

resale should be about $200 I think but one sold on Posh for $100....interesting that the new ones have leather lining. but the cost thousands, right?

Yes, the prices are totally insane! :( Frankly, I don't think it's worth it even considering the current situation with the rising prices for everything. This is just not a $4K bag, no matter how nice it is!

By the way, I either forgot or didn't know, but there were Antique Nappa bags released about 10 years ago. This one seems really similar to the Medium bowling they currenty have:
