Vogue's "reporting" (it was not Le City in 2002... -.-) is basically why I only subscribe for their archived Runway access...



Part of me thinks Kate is being quietly paid to wear it... especially since only Vogue has these photos of her wearing Le City and the image says "Courtesy of Balenciaga" under it..................

Could be the case or maybe she was gifted one to test out and she chose to use it or both. One never knows in the world of fashion. Consider posting this in the Celebrities & Bal thread too.

Not horrible or anything, but I get absolutely no must have vibes from any of these. I don't feel the need to touch and squeeze and just FEEL the leather. Leaves me completely cold...

Unyummy leather. The green is a beautiful color but looks like it has makeup caked on too heavy. Strap and handles look longer. I like the hardware.

Glad the leathers are uninspiring, and that the best leathers are currently used only on tiny ass XS cagoles that don't hold a thing.

I agree that these are mostly underwhelming, although I do like the new green, as it reminds me of a brighter Pistachio. I assumed these would come with the new whipstitch weight distributor (which I HATE), but I don't see it in the stock photos.

The prelaunch ads showed the whipstitch thingy, but they may have dropped it from the retail release to save money, given their razor thin margins on this $3000 bag

I'm with you that she's paid to carry it. They're obviously creating a nostalgia connection using the very model who originally catapulted the moto bag into cult status. For sure she didn't pay for it. Neither did Kim pay for her 100 bags that were shipped to her before any of them are even on the market.
