Hi!

I purchased a Neverfull MM DE in Spain. It was one of the bags on my list, but originally had my heart on a speedy 30b but they didn’t have it in the DE print. They also didn’t have the Gravefull MM in any print to try.

Now that I’m home, I’m wondering if I should try the Gracefull MM and potentially exchange it and risk possibly never being able to get it again with this new waitlist? Haha

I’ve always wanted the Neverfull (even though I am not much of a tote person) and just love the slouchy hobonesss of the Gracefull but some of the reviews aren’t great (quicker wear and tear/hard to get into).

What’s everyone’s thoughts?

Neverfull. I like the slouchiness of the Graceful too, but when I tried it on it seemed very thin to me. I also have a Galliera and the canvas seems so much thicker, although I can make it slouch also. The Neverfull has the pouch (which I missed out on both times) and I love that it can be cinched and made smaller if necessary.

Don’t know if this helps as I had the Graceful but in the PM size. Found that the Neverfull MM was just a bit taller but could fit a lot more. The Graceful is ‘prettier’ IMO but the MM looks cute cinched too. Perhaps apply leather conditioner or protector to the leather lining of the NF so that excessive cinching will not result in wear and tear. I wear it opened mostly anyway. But as you’re talking about the Graceful MM which I’ve never tried on, that probably fits as much as the NF MM.

I have sold my graceful, no regrets, never miss it. But when I sold my neverfull, I miss it and repurchase. So my vote goes to Neverfull. Good luck on deciding.

My vote is to keep the Neverfull. You can always buy the graceful later and I bet you got a great deal in Europe. I have both bags in the MM size and prefer my Neverfull. The graceful is harder to get into and if you use a purse organizer it makes the bag look structured and you lose the slouchy look. I’m lazy so I love the easy grab and go use of the Neverfull. I love big slouchy bags but my graceful is my least used bag.

Thanks everyone. I might go try the graceful on but will likely keep my Neverfull. I did call the store near me to see if they had the graceful and NF in DA and they can not give me the inventory do the NF… which means I will likely never be able to replace it haha. Oh, all these fashion houses and their ever chancing.

I bought the graceful mm and an organizer. The shape changed and magnet would not hold bag closed I returned. Anyone else notice this or have solution? Possibly, only an vase insert? I wanted to add longer strap, also. I was told it would scratch D rings but doesn’t the same wear develop on other handbags that give you optional crossbody straps?

I have both and wouldn't be able to choose. But I do know if the NF was harder to get, I'd keep it. I really think it depends on what you're looking for in a bag. I find the NF useful for travel but the straps are painful in my hands or shoulders after awhile. I can't load as much in my Graceful but it makes for a great bag on days I want to carry more than essentials and the strap is very comfortable. My NF is a GM and I always find myself trying to tuck my bag a certain way to ensure I don't get pick pocketed. I don't have that worry with my Graceful.

I think it is a matter of personal preference. I recently scored a NF DA online and was really excited to be able to get it so easy when they have been wait listing it. But the bag wasn’t me, it was not my style, for what I carry seemed too big and felt empty. I have been using my GF MM in mono for 2 years now and really don’t notice any excessive or any wear and tear. I don’t use a bag organizer and never needed one.

I also bought an organizer for Graceful PM from zoomoni, but didn’t like it as first, it’s a tiny bit wider than the base of the bag (and I didn’t want to distort it), and second, it makes the bag look very bulky. Instead, I’m using an organizer from my TP 26 inside of the graceful PM to store some wet wipes, chewing gums, tissues, and other stuff I don’t want to lay loose in the bag, and put my regular slgs just inside of the bag next to the organizer. This way the lining is protected, while the slouchy look is kept. :flowers:
