Neiman Marcus packaging??

Is it possible that the bag was not wrapped/handled by the SA you purchased it with but some other helpers? Just wondering. This looks very abnormal to me and I shopped with Neiman Marcus Chanel before. They never had this problem.

Update…. My SA was mortified and stated all bags are expected to be packaged in the same manner as a stand alone boutique. He stated this is the worse packaging he has ever seen. His manager is contacting the other location manager concerning this. He is mailing me the packaging today
Also inspect the bag carefully just to ensure it wasn't damaged by being shipped that way.

I agree with @glitzgal97—I’ve also ordered from NM Chanel, and the bags always arrived beautifully packaged with the box, ribbon, and camellia. However, I once received a Bottega bag from Nordstrom in just a clear plastic bag, with no box or dust bag. I suppose mishaps can happen with any retailer.
I have also ordered Bottega from saks and Neimans and also came in clear plastic bag no box or dustbag! Wonder if it’s a Bottega thing (not to get off topic)!

I received a scarf from NM Chanel. It was packaged in the same deplorable condition. i was shocked! No Chanel box, camellia or ribbon. Had to “beg” for a box. Never, ever again! Excuses were plenty. Received a box a few weeks later.

I’m curious if it’s from the same store. Mine came from the Austin NM.

I know a Sales Associate there and have ordered from her a couple of times. Everything was packed perfectly, just as if it came from a standalone boutique.

I’m curious how these things happen… Does someone just wake up one day and decide they don’t feel like bothering with the packaging? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Agree with most of y'all. All my NM Chanel purchases have been perfectly packaged. Someone dropped the ball big on yours. It's on the person who thought it was acceptable to send your package out like that. Not a company thing.
