Department stores actually isn’t going to carrying Gucci bags as owned. Gucci will still be available in Saks, Bloomingdales, and nordstrom but under leased. You can still use your points, rewards, and department card. I worked at company with Gucci, Gucci didn’t pulled out due to low inventory. Gucci wants to be more direct to consumer so all Gucci bags, accessories, rtw is no longer sold in department store unless it’s a lease store. Shoes, watches, jewelry, beauty are still wholesale. They stopped with neimans due to neimans bankruptcy.

I purposely waited until the recent Nordstrom 10 pt days to purchase a new Gucci purse and come to find they no longer sell Gucci handbags. :(
