Need your perspective again, which Cartier to buy?

My vote goes to BB. I have BB 36.

I love the shape of Tank, and like the shape of BB too.

But the Tank is not automatic and is a quartz watch, while BB I can choose automatic. What do you think?

Yea, the automatic is more convenient, but batteries with new tech lasts much longer. Good luck, both are beautiful.

I would´t´worry about a quartz movement. This doesn´t make the watch any less valuable. Most women "jewelry watches" are quartz.
I prefer the Tank Anglaise on you. I just love this watch, so classic, but yet with a modern twist.
Also if you are stuck on an automatic watch, I wouldn´t necessarily get a Cartier. Cartier is after all still a jewelry brand that does watches too.

I strongly prefer the look of the tank on your wrist. The shape is more flattering.

Unfortunately the tank Anglaise only comes in quartz, which is the hard part for me since as much as I love the shape of tank Anglaise, I dont want to put money in a quartz watch.

In store female medium size Anglaise watch also comes with mechanical movement, but it (the medium size) is SO BIG, does not look good at all.

A quartz movement will not hold value the same as an automatic movement. Watches are kind of like cars. Value drops the minute you put it on your wrist. So buy the watch that you love. If you want an automatic movement I echo the suggestion to look outside of fashion brands (Cartier, Chanel, etc). Your watch is something you look at multiple times daily. If you love watches enough that you want to buy a high end piece you should not settle.

I like the BB, but I may be biased because I have one...

I am personally a big fan of automatic watches, and I would recommend that. I love not needing to worry about batteries!
