Need your opinion on Bal city bag

I vote black also, but be forewarned (smile) Bals are very addicting so you may also end up with a red one as well! I have 3 black Bals in different styles (posting them for comparison for you) On top is City w/classic hardware/tassels, then Part time w/giant gold HW, & Work bag on bottom w/giant silver HW. Then the closeup shot of all 3 so you can see there are differences in leather. I find all Bak bags have their own uniqueness. GOOD LUCK!!

i have a follow up question, if you don't mind: how do you rate the types of leather of your 3 bags? the leather of your city with classic hardware looks quite different to the other two. is the leather of your gold and silver hardware bags the same kind?

hi again!~yes, these 3 black Bal leathers are indeed all very different (I think someone else commented on this or another thread about it & it's why I did the closeup pic to compare) My City bag has lots of "veining" to it; whereas my Part-Time w/giant 21 gold hardware is much more of a smooth leather (not as noticeable with veining). My Work bag w/giant 21 Silver hardware is really the "smooshiest" & that's because it's the one used most often, so it's really broken in nicely w/ the most slouch to it. I have both older Chevre bal bags & Agneau bags & I just find them to all have their own uniqueness to them. Not sure if I answered your question on how i "rate" them but hope this helps!
