I love it personally but do you love it I suppose is the real question

I’ve decided to pass on it. I think the brushed finish and size is throwing me off. At least now I know there’s a shiny steel mini available in store for a good price point so my next step is to go try them in person ♥️
Thank you everyone!
I have to agree with this statement. I took my vintage 1966 Rolex to a pawn shop to try and sell because other Rolex shops weren't interested. The pawn shop tried to tell me that it was a fake, and I told them it wasn't. They yelled at me and tried to tell me the second hand wasn't sweeping like a "real" Rolex is supposed to. I finally ended up selling it to a vintage Rolex AD online, and shipped it to them and it turned out to be genuine. So that pawn shop lost out on a real vintage Rolex. They were idiots anyway. Not saying your family are idiots, but just saying that most pawn shops probably are not as trained when it comes to luxury jewelry/watches like an actual AD is.What matters is (1) if it's entirely original and authentic and (2) if it fits with your taste. Buying on the basis of a brand name only and because it's a "bargain" is not going to be satisfying on a daily wearing basis. It has to resonate aesthetically to be worth any money. Will you care that it is in preowned condition, with signs of use? Are you a perfectionist who'd rather have store fresh and pristine? Be true to what you like and gravitate toward, or else you could have a $1500 disappointment. Subjectively I think this watch is sweet and charming, but I'd also need rock solid authentication, and frankly, a pawn shop is not definitive.
And for sure you have to know that they will take it back if you get it inspected at Cartier and they find something off, as in non-brand replacement parts. Especially since it's a personal relationship involved, you still need to be sure of this.
No it’s understandable. They’re usually very good about their stuff, but I think my heart wasn’t in love with that specific watch regardless of the deal.I have to agree with this statement. On that note, I agree with others that you should pass on this watch. I wouldn't be happy with the condition of it, and even though that price is good for a Cartier panthere watch, I wouldn't be happy without the CoA and other paperwork to ensure its authenticity. It's too used and I would look around and try to find something better. Good luck with your decision.
I’m really not sure! It might be how I took the photo. I checked out the Rolex OP today in person, in a 28. Even that was a little large on me. But I think I’ve learned a bit through this and it’s guided me more to what I like so I’m narrowing down my list and trying to plan a visit to see them all in person before I decideI understand you've decided to pass on it but here are some photos of sizing in case you'd like to consider it in the future.

I too was concerned about the size. I was actually reading this thread last night and was hesitant to post because the photos look like a medium to me. I have a medium, TT panthere and I also wear a size 16 love bracelet. So it was confusing me and I wasn't sure what to say.
On a side note, it does seem to depend on when that particular watch was made.
The one in the photos does seem to be quite a bit older.

Same here- I think it looks good but you have to decide.I love it personally but do you love it I suppose is the real question
I let it goI like the size a lot!
Agreed, don’t buy it because you feel pressured, you either love it or you don’t!
