Need help, what bag should I buy my wife, currently has Marc Jacobs

I just found this thread and am in a similar situation. Hope it's okay to hijack this thread.

I would appreciate any suggestions which of these bags I should buy for my finances birthday.





Both are pre used but in excellent, like never used condition and around 500€. Usually I would have picked the McQ, but I bought her a blue Vivienne Westwood in Feb already. From girls point view, still pick the blue McQ or go for the brown Gucci?

This is her blue Westwood if the look matters for the decision

Gucci is quite on trend right now! And I personally think it is nice to have a variety of bags in different colors! Does your fiance like to shake things up, or does she like to go for the same colors daily? If she likes having bags in the same color, I would go for the McQueen since it was your first instinct.

Is it? I just heard they changed the designer and the prices went up.

My better half likes to wear different bags and changes them sometimes daily, sometimes weekly. But mostly she is using her black Jil Sander clutch.

If am not wrong she got a blue Goyard aswell, so it would be her third blue. The thing is I know she would probably love the McQ, but not sure if it's a good investment to have so many in the same colour?!

I feel like am thinking too much the practical and manly way, am I?

Of the two I like the McQ better, it has a striking and modern design. I like Gucci, but if I'm looking at the classic bamboo line, would rather get the full bamboo handle. If she finds she has too many blue bags, would you mind if she sells one to fund something else you can pick out together? Either way, what lovely gifts!

Payed 550€ with dustbag n paperbag, seems to be a good deal to me.
