Dusty rose is a mauve/brown taupe. It runs close to the same family of colors as dark dune and cinder. I loved it when I first saw it but passed on it because I don't have a lot of mauve or pinks in my wardrobe. I'd describe it as an antique mauve color. It's a great neutral, but not right for everyone.
