I've been offered a Kelly 40 black/GHW Epsom , AND a B35 PHW brown barenia (is Barenia difficult to care for?). I'm having a hard time deciding which one to choose.
I'm 33 and 4'11. Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks![]()

OMG... I can't believe it's finally mine!!! The B was the better option. The leather is Fauve not Barenia. It's beautiful. Thank you for your response.
Just saw this. Could it be a Fauve Tadelakt?Fauve is a color.
Barenia is not difficult to care for except it does prone to stains. Otherwise, it's part of the nature and charm of Barenia. It can always be spae'd or refurbished through Dcoride's methods. A Black Epsom Kelly 40 can look brief-casy to me unless if you don't mind.
My choice will be Barenia 35B. To me Kelly 40 is best in clemence or togo.
Black 40 will b too big n heavy for u
Go for d b 35

The Kelly seemed too much like a briefcase to me. A little too stiff, perhaps too serious looking for me. It was a gorgeous bag non the less. I think if they would have had it in a softer leather, I would have taken both.![]()

Can't wait to see your reveal! Congratulations...
Glad you went with the B and can't wait too see it! The 40 Kelly would have overpowered you and been super heavy to boot. I'm 6'0 and even I don't want a 40 Kelly...Black 40 will b too big n heavy for u

Congratulations on the B!
After doing a little bit of research, and using a bit of common sense, this is my conclusion; Fauve leather, which at one point was called, Barenia, "fauve" is the French word for "wild beast". Fauve is untreated leather, therefore it would make sense why it would not be a color but the type of leather.
Any thoughts on this?
