Hi. I just bought the pale blue Selma mini messenger, and although it is super cute and I really like it, I'm scared it may be to small for my 5"9 frame? All the models wearing it on photos are so tiny, I worry it will look silly on me being between size 10 and 12...

Also, it doesn't hold that much. I know pastels are very 'in' this spring/summer, but I thought it would be wise not to have a bag too big in this color should it be different next year.

I need to hear from you that have these bags, pro and cons. And I need to know if the medium will fit a Jet set wallet.

I just got the medium messenger its fits that wallet as i have it. Im 5ft8 and dont think they look silly if your tall at all

Those mini bags are TOO small and not practical, like almost everything COACH produces nowadays. I would keep the medium and kick the mini to the curb LOL!!
+1
The mini on me would be absolutely ridiculous. The medium would work, but I think I might pass on the entire Selma messenger line because I like my cross-body bags to have some slouch and softness.

That's what I love about MK. Something for everyone';). I like structured bags, and love the saffiano leather!

But then I wont have a whole family? Is it crazy to want to have a selma in every size? I think I will keep her just because you never know when you might need one for the "little jobs" and it contributes to my collection. Call me a hoarder, I can't part with any bag.
lol! You HOARDER!! lol! Well you me to call you that! lol! But I understand totally. There are times when you can use a smaller bag like at a wedding or something. So it's nice to have one available, although at my age, it seams all I am going to is funerals anymore. Geez! Sad, but true.

I go to a lot of fairs and festivals that are weekend events, and sometimes I will put my small bag in my big bag! lol! To travel there and back, but while I am at the event I have to walk a lot, so I'll leave my big bag in the hotel room and grab my little one, because the bigger one gets so heavy when I am doing all that walking. I will just throw my cards, cash and lipstick in it and off I go to the fair! Those little buggers really do come in handy for times like that.

And when you are collecting, that's a good point too. The Michael Kors bags I always go for usually only come in one size though, so I have to get a smaller one from a completely different collection that comes in a small. Here is one of my favorite small bags I can easily fit it in my big black Chelsea.Wait a minute! I guess this is a Chelsea too, now that I think about it! lol! Holy cow! I am collecting all sizes and didn't even realize it! lol !

Yep!! Your a hoarder too cinthiaz!

Yeah I'm feeling a bit out of control. If anyone here who is able to keep their collection at 1 or 2, please share some tips!

Quite a few of my co - workers own only one bag in addition to a wallet, and I never discuss the number of my bags with them. I don't know if it would be considered as "showing of". So I just put my bags into circulation and recieve the compliments; ).

I could never go back to owning only one bag. I've discovered over the years that you really need different types of bags for different occasions and uses...cross-body, hobo, satchel, shoulder, tote, clutch, etc. How can anyone survive with just one bag?! :amazed:

Most of the women in my family only have a bag or two and they have carried the same bag(s) for YEARS. I say to each its own, hey I own so many that I look insane and definitely spoiled to them. I have heard the talk-LOL! I dont care what they think, but whenever they need a fancy clutch etc.., I let them borrow things. Every teen in this family has borrowed a clutch and pashmina for prom from me. As long as I get it back in the same condition, I'm good. I have even given some away to them. The only bag I regret gifting was a gucci speedy in classic blue with the stripe. Now that was dumb--NO, I can't ask for it BACK...ugghhhh. Mom said I would regret that and I do. But just got a another Gucci, so oh well.
