Hi. I just bought the pale blue Selma mini messenger, and although it is super cute and I really like it, I'm scared it may be to small for my 5"9 frame? All the models wearing it on photos are so tiny, I worry it will look silly on me being between size 10 and 12...

Also, it doesn't hold that much. I know pastels are very 'in' this spring/summer, but I thought it would be wise not to have a bag too big in this color should it be different next year.

I need to hear from you that have these bags, pro and cons. And I need to know if the medium will fit a Jet set wallet.

I think it depends on how much you want to carry. I have the medium messenger and it fits everything I need just perfectly. It fits my MK wallet (jet set chain wallet) so if you have the jet set slim wallet it should definitely fit.

No, I have the Jet set wallet continental, and they don't fit. If I have to buy a new wallet it comes out on the same price as the medium messenger. I just tried it on, and both my wallets fit in it..

So I couldn't decide, and went to my high end store and brought home the medium Selma messenger in Pale Blue as well. By comparison there are a lot of difference between the mini and the medium.

The mini messenger is so cute, but it doesn't fit much. The medium however fits my continental wallet and heaps more. And it has the zipped compartment as well as the keystring and dustbag. It is also much easier to open and close, I felt the strap came in the way on the mini version. Sending the mini back tonight and keeping the medium. Stunning bag!:D

Glad you settled on the medium messenger. When I saw you had purchased the mini, I feared it would be too small for you! :smile1:

Yeah, I meant the wallet should fit the medium for sure. The pale blue looks really nice! Nice to hear you got the medium. If a new wallet is around the same price of the medium messenger, I would rather get the medium messenger than get a new wallet just to fit in the mini. Good choice :p

I also have a medium and a Mini (diff colours), I recently saw a medium on sale in Pearl Grey the same color as my mini, and I wonder should I buy the medium and sell my mini?? It is just sooo small.....

I found out that I needed a new wallet should I keep the mini as it really doesn't fit much. I'm glad I choose the medium size that allowes me to have my wallet and so forth with me. If you feel that it is too small for your need, I would definately consider selling it and buying the pearl grey in medium.

If the mini messenger is too small for you and prevents you from using it, you should sell it and get the medium size.

But then I wont have a whole family? Is it crazy to want to have a selma in every size? I think I will keep her just because you never know when you might need one for the "little jobs" and it contributes to my collection. Call me a hoarder, I can't part with any bag.

Then you should keep it! And by the way, you can still have a messenger in grey or any color you like even if you have the mini. Go with what's right for you';). I am not a big fan of the larger Selmas, I feel the handles does something to the bag. So I won't be buying any Selmas larger than the medium any time soon. But who knows;....I might change my mind at some point. The thing is; there is no "right" or "wrong" bag code. You decide!

I would go for the medium messenger. Though the mini is insanely cute the medium is cute as well and a lot more practical, you can hold a good amount of items in there

I just saw your purchase, it's so beautiful!! Def s keeper. I love that color💎
