Hi everyone
I am new here. I have made a decision to buy a luxury bag for the first time in my life. I like smallish size but not a tiny mini bag. Needs to be cross body style.
I have been eyeing the LV Felicie POCHETTE. Not sure if it’s worth it or it might actually be a bit too small?
I also considered the YSL loulou toy, but I think it’s too dressy for my style. Need it to use as an everyday bag and can be dressed up for outings.
Thanks in advance:)

Check out Eva! It’s perfect for daily use, while it can also be carried as a clutch/wristlet for nicer occasions as the crossbody strap can be removed, and the chain replaced to make a nice wristlet! It’s got good capacity as well, and carries my essentials with no problem  This would definitely be my choice for the mentioned needs:smile:

LV Eva is discontinued, so unless you are comfortable buying secondhand, you won't find it.

If you haven't been to the lv boutique, I would highly suggest you go and see the bags yourself. I own a lot of crossbody styles. Pochette felicie isn't part of my collection because it is smaller than anything else I own. My smallest bag is favorite mm (discontinued) and it's too small for me now. However, if pochette felicie's size works for you, then get it. It's not a poorly designed bag, just smaller. It's really a wallet on chain size imo.

Smallest bags in a size I would like are neonoe bb and blanche bb. Standard crossbody size bags I like are montaigne bb, soufflot bb, boite chapeau souple, cannes, and duffle bag (M43587). Of the five, cannes and duffle will fit the least, and they're the hardest to fill because of their rigid size. Of course, there is speedy b25 and pochette metis, but I don't like them.

You didn't mention a budget, but if I had to pick from all the bags I listed, I would go with montaigne bb as my first lv. The price is pretty steep though, for a mono crossbody-size piece. The silhouette is simple, but it has a classy-chic look to me. The bag has three compartments, so it's not a blackhole of stuff. Only the handles are vachetta, so it makes spraying with a leather protectant easy.

How about the deauville mini or odeon nm pm? i think they are both great for everyday use. both have detachable straps, front pocket and zipper. i think the odeon in noir is carefree bag.

Hopefully you can go to the store and try on multiple options. I find myself wanting a certain bag and then when I try it on, I don't like it. I've made purchases that I completely didn't expect, just by trying on things I didn't expect to love. Good luck!

This is so true for me. My mind is all set with a piece i've been stalking and when i get to the store i tend to find another item. It's better to make a list and try them in the store if you can.

I have the Felicie and if you only carry the bare essentials then it should work for you (phone, keys, card holders or small wallet). It does work for casual or dress up as well. I will admit it is on the smaller end of the size spectrum. If you need a bit more space maybe something like the Croisette would work better? Or the Multi-Pochette - casually you can wear both the pochettes and for dress up you can pick either just the large or smaller one to use as a small bag (buy an off brand chain to make it crossbody for dressier events).

Sorry if this is a silly question and the answer may be very obvious. But not to me lol.
I looked at the LV website and don’t know which bags are the permanent ones that keep getting restocked, and how to tell which ones will not be restocked? We are in lockdown at the moment in Melbourne. So I can’t go to the LV store. It’s online for me

I had the Felicie in mono and after 3 months, ultimately decided to let it go. It wasn’t functional for me. I could never fit my iPhone 11 inside and if I did, I had to downsize the items that I usually carry with me. I think it depends on what you carry on you at all times because that is going to be huge factor if this bag will fit your lifestyle.

I bought an Alma BB after letting my Felicie go and I’ve never been happier  So much more space and versatile with being able to wear it cross body or handheld.
