I haven't had any rub off and I wear denim a lot. I also wear bold colors like fuschia, royal blue, etc along with a lot of black! I've been using my vanilla Grayson since June and she still looks brand new!!!! No color rub at all! Post pics!!!!

I'm not to worried about it... I'm super excited to get it... should be here tomorrow ... pictures asap when she arrives.... :D I'm also feeling naughty and want the East West in Black with Silver hardware.... :graucho:

LOL. thought about you yesterday!!!! Got coffee on the satchel handles of my vanilla Grayson!!!! I thought it would stain because it formed a circle. When I got back to my office I took a baby wipe to it and it came right off!!!! No marks left behind and that is a very light colored trim!!!!! These bags are the best! Can't wait to see yours!!!!

EEEKKK!!!! I almost fainted when you said COFFEE ON THE HANDLES!!!!! :woot: I'm soooo glad that it just wiped right OFF!!!!! I'm waiting on UPS at the moment for her... AAANNNDD!!!! While I was thinking about getting the east west in black with silver hardware .... ( which I still probably will in the next month ) I found the Hamilton North/South also at Zappos in Iris ( I've looked at her a million times along with the Vanilla ) for $214.99 so I had to snatch her up!!!! She will be arriving at home tomorrow!!!!! My little Hamilton family... :love:

I almost passed out because coffee is a hard stain!!!! And it sat for three hours til I got back to my office!!!! MK really stain proofs his purses!!!!

I love it!!! The Hamilton family!!! Please post pics! I'm a Hamilton fan, but the lock makes it too heavy for me to carry so I enjoy looking at others arm candy!!!!

..... MK really does go above and beyond with his products... I've had MANY Coach Dooney and one LV over time and had started to think about purchasing more LV after I sold a large portion of my collection but after finding MK I haven't looked back... the detail and craftsmanship he puts into his handbags is just amazing!!! I've became a total addict for his bags over the past 4 months... :smile1:

I'm posting this question here because you girls obviously know your Hamiltons! I'm about to buy my first one (the vanilla logo PVC) and I want to protect it before it leaves the house. (The spilled coffee story freaked me out!). Michael Kors sells a conditioning spray, and also a stain repellant spray... I have both. Do you use these products on your MK bags, and if so, how do they work? Would you spray a repellant spray on PVC? I also just bought a bottle of "For Handles Only" from Lovin My Bags... I thought it would be a good way to protect the leather handles of all my satchel bags (though the product does say it won't protect the handle from getting a patina, but that's okay with me... I'm just worried about stains).

Any advice for a newcomer would be greatly appreciated!

I have a PVC bag and when I spoke to a sales person she told me not to spray PVC. Their repellents were for the leather specifically. I asked this question because I got a spot on both my PVC bag and she said just wash with a little soap and water and it will come off and it did ! The sprays are mainly for leather but I could be wrong but that's the advice I got and I haven't sprayed my bags just a light wash every now and then
