Necklace or bracelet... Which do you wear more?

I wear a necklace 99.99% of the time. If I forget, I find myself 'going' for a necklace to play with anyway. I love my bracelets, but since I'm at a computer all day for work, I tend to wear these much more often on weekends when they won't be banging around so much.

I HAVE to wear a necklace or I feel naked! I would much rather wear a necklace than any other piece of jewellery. I too have a baby, she's 8 months old & she always tugs at my necklaces but I couldn't not wear one!!! I love bracelets & wear them often but don't feel compelled to wear them like I do necklaces. xMMx

I used to wear necklaces every day before. And bracelets only on special occasions. Then after I got married and had babies (toddler and preschooler now), I changed. For some reason, I rarely wear necklaces and I just don't like the feeling of having a necklace around my neck anymore.
I love bracelets and wear one or two almost daily.

I have soo many gorgeous necklaces (gold and diamonds) but I rarely wear them. Is is because I have gotten lazy? Necklaces take a bit more time to put on. I wear a watch daily with one or two bracelets.

I have a gold bracelet that I rarely take off, but I usually wear a necklace, too. I have so many that I often wear two or maybe three, but one of them is a long chain with a diamond pendant that I almost always wear. The others I change depending on the outfit.

It seems that necklaces used to be more popular, and then celebrities were all photographed at red carpet events wearing nothing around their necks and going bare took on new popularity. While I agree that some dresses don't need a necklace, I also think bare necklines were taken to an unusual extreme and for a while there the prevailing wisdom with almost any dress was to wear earrings and a bracelet and nothing else. I hope that era is ending, as I love beautiful necklaces just as much as other jewelry.

That's so cute. How old are your babies? I have a nine month old and she really loves to grab into my necklaces. I take it as a sign that she will like jewelry as much as I do.. When I am not wearing a necklace she's always searching around my neck :)

My older one is 2yo. The younger one is only 1 wk :smile1:. So really tired now with breastfeeding n all. Purseforum is my lifesaver - i come here for stress relief :smile1:.

Another reason i prefer necklaces is that i am harder on my rings n bracelets than necklaces. So i would rather spend more on a necklace than a bracelet since i wld scratch up the bracelet.

I love to wear both necklace and bracelet but I do wear necklace more often as bracelet tends to bang on the keyboard of computer. I work with computes most of the time so bracelet is not so practical.

Definitely a necklace woman! I have to sometimes serve customers and work in a deli so bracelets are a no no!

Bread - congrats on your little bundle! TPF definitely my outlet as have two kids but abit older!

I'm still wanting a bead Tiffany bracelet then I'm sure would wear it more often than not...

I work in a Deli and I don't let that stop me from wearing my bracelets LOL I even wear my Pandora! That's why I like it slightly snug, so it's not flopping all over. I wear my rings too :D
