I voted for the Cartier baby Love necklace, but now that I've seen the pictures of the VCA one, I actually like that better. Too bad I can't change my vote. I just assumed I'd like it better because I have so much Love jewelry already.

While I adore the Love collection, for some reason it does not resonate for me as a necklace. I vote VCA.
I am curious which one was first, Tiffany or Cartier?
I voted for the baby love necklace as a simple everyday piece. I also really like the VCA but I say get both!!! Haha 
Thank you all! I think I am going to pre pay for the vca and then pick it up when I go to NYC in a month. I love cartier but I am not sure if the screw motif will be seen on the necklace, or if it will just be too small to see. I can get a plain version in 14k for about $200 (without screw motif on the rings) so I am not sure if it's worth it. Then I may need to put myself on a ban
I would also love to see the custom piece when it's finished.
I am also curious to know! Does anyone here have any idea?
I vote VCA onyx. Cartier interlocking love with diamonds is beautiful and I’d pick that over VCA but I’d skip it without diamonds.
Hi @darkangel07760 & @PinkGlitterStar I am not sure which one came first but I seem to recall Tiffany's 1837 may have been introduced in 2008/2009 but I am guessing. I think the Cartier Love interlocking necklace is a great everyday piece but I think one will get bored but when I look at the VCA necklace, there is more visual interest and presence to me. Both are beautiful in their own way. My decision is still to choose VCA.

My criteria from beginning are 3 things :
1/ DBTY
2/ rose gold
3/ stone definitely not a diamond.
So the jeweller (he specialises in jade) found an icy jade cabochon which I think has the right amount of green against my skin tone and for everyday wear.
Have you decided what to get?

I guess going customising has no limits. Either way, it’ll be a right choice for you so long you love it!
The jeweller has his standard clasp that allows any adjustment on length but I am used to and like the clasp of Cartier and Chaumet so I specified I want lobster claw as well as 3 rings for different lengths.

Oh my gosh this is stunning!! I love the color jade that he found for you! I ended up going with the vca alhambra but I had them extend it by 2 inches so I haven't actually received it yet. They are so strict with mailing that I may just wait to pick it up when I go in 3 weeks to NYC. I can't guarantee I'll be home to sign for it otherwise and I get stressed out over missing deliveries!
Nice choice! i was wearing my aunt‘s guilloche necklace which she also extended likewise. I’m guessing the guilloche and Alhambra are the same length (?). I find with the extension, it sits better with higher neckline top. lets see your pretty necklace soon.
The VCA 1000%. I like the Love design much more as a bracelet; it doesn’t stand out much in this necklace and I think it looks kind of teenagerish for how expensive it is.
