Hello! I'm trying to find an eyebrow microblading person in Seoul for when I will there in November. I've attached pictures of the style I'm looking for. This specific person isn't responding to me, so I assume that they're not comfortable taking a client that doesn't speak Korean. I really want a natural style of microblading only, no shading. If anybody has any recommendations, that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I got it microblading done a while back in Korea. The girl I visited spoke fluent English and was super nice. If you are interested, you can check out her instagram page @charmcity_tatto!! (not a promo- I'm still very pleased about how mine turned out!)
Oh nice!! That sounds comfortable that she can speak English. I just checked her IG though and it looks like she only does regular tattoos now :/ thank you for responding, though!

wow those pics are nice work but I also heard that the microblading fades fast
For me, that's part of the appeal because eyebrow trends tend to change every few years and if you don't like the outcome it's not forever!

It's much less expensive in Korea too - I'm seeing ~$350 USD whereas in the states it's around $700-$1000 for natural styles of microblading.

ive always wanted to do microblading butttt what if its messed up? How is microblading fixed/removed? Or do i have to wait months for it to fade -_-
It's a semi-permanent tattoo, so it will fade eventually but the time depends on your skin type. If you have oiler skin, it will fade faster vs. dryer skin. The pigment isn't inserted into the skin as deep as regular tattoos which is why it fades over time. You'll want to make sure the place you go uses the right ink too. The most common ink leaves a red stain as it fades, but they have newer better ink now that cancels out the red to fade in a more natural shade (from what I've seen!)

when you it fades does it get blotchy? Because my make up is quite oily. I dont use powders, i do the shiney glowy face type make up. -_-

I think there's the traditional semi-permanent microblading that actually lasts a few years and the Korean style that lasts several months.

My eyebrow microblading was the traditional one and it lasted about 2 years (the distinct lines lasts close to 2 years but after that it does get blotchy, and the fading makes the lines "blurred" and I still have some remaining "blurred" part 4 years after lol.)
So I have to fill in the blotchy parts with makeup. But it's better than absolutely no eyebrows (pre-tattoo) XD

I'm thinking about trying the 6-months kind soon since it apparently doesn't get blotchy and "blurred", it just fades away quickly, and entirely as well. <-- I think this is better

hmmm but when it becomes blotchy can it be covered up with eyeshadow easily?

yes! this! the korean style has lighter pass strokes (needle pressure into skin) while western microblading it is a deeper pass stroke. It is just how they deposit the ink that is differently.

Western microblading is meant to LAST up to 2 years depending on how you maintain them while the korean style one will fade within 6 months to a year because it is less damage to your skin considering how light the pass strokes are. Plus, if you don't live in korea and plan on doing a touch up outside of korea you will have to pay for a full microblading session since they cannot create the same pass strokes and it will end up darker than the korean style.

Microblading fades after about 6 months so you have to be prepared to do continued touchups.
On Insta BespokeBrowsByAnn. Ann Nguyen operates out of Ormond, Vic. She does eyebrow tatts. Bear in mind the brows look dark as the photos are taken straight afterwards.Screen Shot 2021-10-31 at 9.01.13 am.png

I bet you're thrilled that by December it looks like you can travel to Seoul and no quarantine on coming home to OZ. However no word from Seoul when it is going to stop it's 14 day hotel quarantine though!!!!!
