It’s lovely to see them, but I don’t think Vogue is doing much of a celebration of mature women when their age is all photoshopped away.

Totally agree, and also the styling on the cover - they look like they went to a Sex and the City funeral. I mean, can’t older women wear inspiring and exciting clothes?
The last 2 Vogue magazines I bought for the cover were both Vogue Japan. This cover is depressing. I grew up in the Supermodel era and this cover makes me think "this is it for us?"

The photo editing is insane
I feel like they made Naomi look worse on the cover- she’s got the world’s best cheekbones she doesn’t need a big flat cheek and a tiny pinched nose.The posing is also so flat - like they were taken separately and collages together compared to the old shoot where they are hugging and they all look so carefree and radiant.
Linda’s voice always surprises me -she has such a shy voice for a 80s powerhouse diva.
I think there are uneven lumps on several spots on her body from the Coolsculpting issue. You don't see that much of her, she's pretty covered. The rest I'll assume is edited.So what happened to Linda’s cool sculpting body fiasco? She looks slim! I’d read that it couldn’t be fixed. Naomi always looks incredible. They styled them horribly for the cover. Lol to the SATC Funeral comment.
Linda isn’t shown wearing anything figure hugging up top. I think the hardened lumps that can’t be removed are on her upper back.So what happened to Linda’s cool sculpting body fiasco? I don't like these pics at all, they are lame and dead (by photoshop).
They even made it happen that Cindy looks like a Steven Tyler filtered by face app in the pic she has her hand on Linda's shoulder. The pose also looks so forced - like everything in this shooting.
Not impressed by Vogue.
Funny, how they let Naomi's scar from a vaccine on her arm, like "look, we do not alter these pics as much"

Edward is so patronising to theses professional women. The more he bigs them up the more he seems to put them down.
The cover is the worst Vogue I have ever seen, including Naomi, who is magnificent. Probably the worst image from the bunch too. More '90s Woman & Home or Sears Catalogue special on conservative holiday dressing than Vogue in the 21st Century. Obviously EE is thinking of his grandmothers as inspiration for this (apologies to his grandmothers - I'm sure they're
too) total wipe-out of all the undiminished sensuality of these gorgeous women.I thought EE was 'just' unable to live-up to his editor in chief responsibilities, I see now he's completely lost his styling mojo too. This is not even his usual vanilla, this is Mr Whippy.
I did not know one of them was Cindy C until I read further and the comments here. Wow.
