OMG I am so sorry to hear this! Please keep us updated....
BTW, if you DID find your rings at a pawn shop, you would NOT have to buy them back, that is crazy. Call the police and they would contact the owner of the shop and the rings would be taken by the police as "recovered stolen property" and ALL pawn shop owners are mandated usually by state law and city municipal business codes for obtaining a Driver's License or otherwise issued government ID from the person "pawning" the rings/property.
Check Craigs list for your rings too!!! There is a TON of stolen property on there. If you locate them, call the police and advise them so they can follow up on it. Don't totally give up hope!
Insurance is taken care of, they are sending me a check this week. She also said the same thing about pawnshops/stolen goods: good luck with that. LOL. I can now decide how and if I will replace it.
True! I have Chubb so I kind of hoped all the talk about them was true and it was. My husband is SO upset that he wants no part of the replacement. The stone we picked out and he paid for and was so proud of is gone.
I will post what I end up with. Right now I am trying to decide if I want another solitaire and diamond band or if I want a 3stone and diamond or plain band. Either way I have a call into the vendor I think Ill buy the e-ring from, since I know he carries this cut I love.
