How does the finish seem to be? is it bumpy? Does it seem like it could peel off?

It's mainly smooth. You can see on my Speedy where she added gold to the wings of the bee and that is raised. I'm pretty sure if you rub it against something rough there is always a possibility the artwork may get scratched. It is sealed with a protective finish however. I've already come to terms with it, if scratches do happen it will be part of the artwork. I'm not that worried about it!

I saw she did a Dakota and her comment was she wasn’t going to do any more pebbled leather. I was wondering how the Art took on pebbled leather but now bummed cuz I wanted to send a rogue. I’ll wait a bit and ask. Maybe the Dakotah had a finish on it making it difficult for her to do her art.

She painted a Rogue with skulls on it that I think was pebbled leather. It's a little farther down in her Instagram. But definitely ask because maybe the Dakota was extremely uneven?

That's what I'm thinking. I saw she did a rogue and was grateful to work on such a nice bag so she may not mind a rogue. I can't remember if the dakotah was more polished pebble which I think could be harder to apply the paint. I'm definitely going to try!

The pebbled leather on my Dakotah is much more 'thickly' pebbled than what was on my Rogues....a heavier pebble if you will, whereas the Rogue had / has 'thinner' more subtle pebbling....the cracks and crevasses are deeper on the Dakotah......if that makes any sense to you.
