it is a little heavy according to the weight given but the shoulder strap is very comfortable and padded nicely which makes it easier to wear than some of my other bags. The design of the bag lies just so against the body and I find it very comfortable which was a surprise to me. I also don't stuff my bag too full.

I have a Mansur Gavriel which is very lightweight, but it has a very thin crossbody strap and to me, the Tom Ford bag is more comfortable and much easier to get in and out of.

I think bag weight can be misleading for this reason.....

Think I've seen some pics of Jennifer Aniston carrying a very, very similar style bag in Black...or it just may be your (this very exact) Tom Ford bag...and I have always admired it from afar...Thank You so much for sharing. :smile1:

This is my favorite bag at the moment and Im not gonna lie...Im super jealous LOL!!!!!!

The bag is quite expensive, retail.....so you r one lucky girl to buy it at that price :) It's a gorgeous, classic bag!

What a beautiful bag! I saw a large on bergdorfs right now, how did you get them to match Neiman's sale price if you dont mind me asking?

Also, do you use the large everyday? I have been going back and forth in terms of the medium or large, and most people tell me they find the large is just HUGE. Would love to know your thoughts and how it has held up since you got it!

I don't need to use it every day but I do love it, it is beautiful. I called up Bergdorfs a week after I bought it and told them it was another 25% off at Neimans and they matched it. I later got a Hermes Evelyn in black so I don't need the med size Jennifer but I saw it go on sale I would consider buying. It is a great size.

The large is big but as I said it hangs so well on the shoulder and I don't find it awkward-the gold zipper detail is pretty. I am 5'5 or so for reference, med build.

I just looked at BG and that is a good price! You can always return it.

Gail, thank you so much for your info on the bag, I think im going to go ahead and try it from Bergdorfs, the pricing of neimans and bergdorf is so strange. Did you pay around 14xx for the bag?

I do like the medium, but I also have an hermes evelyne and thats exactly what I was thinking when I thought of the jennifer as a crossbody bag, I just dont need it when I have the evelyn.

I'm glad to hear its not too heavy, but I do hope to use it as an everyday bag and hopefully its not too large for my frame.

I think that's about what I paid with the extra discount, but when I got it I had a problem with the zipper on the strap not moving smoothly-there is a small mirror hidden in the strap that you can remove which is a cute detail. They also gave me $100 credit which I had my bag guy fix for me for free as it took him two seconds....I also didn't have to pay tax since I am out of state.

The mini is way too small. I hope it works for you. The bag is large but don't panic-try it on and it's beautiful you will get tons of compliments.
