The "Minou" bag hook is sold at better department or household goods stores here in Europe. Hope you can get one, it's a perfect match for the SO Black HW!

As far as the waterproof treatment goes, I intend to do a touchup every year or two. It's a home spa!

Your So Black Birkin is s t u n n i n g and I love your Berries scarf!
The scarf in my collection which would match the black on black look best is the Ex Libris Carré Invisible in all black. I also have the Ex Libris Carré Glam in black, but it's probably too delicate to use as a strap. Can't say I've missed the shoulder strap yet, though!

How's the PVD on your Kelly holding up? I've been using my birkin since the day I took it out of its box. I tried to leave the straps outside of the strap guides but being boxcalf, the straps are stiff and stick out. So I've placed the straps on the guides. I've decided that if the friction causes the PVD to peel, I will deal with it later. Not going to be too bothered else I won't be able to truly enjoy having such a beauty.

I've been carrying my Kelly every day since I got her and there are no problems with the hardware. PVD doesn't peel, it's bonded with the metal and is very scratch resistant. I don't want to baby my bag - I'm going to enjoy her to the fullest!
