My second Love Bracelet: Sooo happy...!!!

Question Anna, is your WG also the new screw design? I thought with the new screw design, the screws were more flushed into the bracelet compared to the removable screw ones. It seems that on both bracelets, your screws stick out a bit.

How do you like the bracelets together so far? Do you mind the sound they make when they hit each other? Honestly, this is the only thing that's holding me back from buying a second one. Also, do you notice any dents on the edges of your new RG? My SA warned me that this may happen if I stack these. She said that the edges erode over time from the constant hitting. :shrugs: I haven't seen this in person to comment.

Thanks!

It seems my half-diamond WG one, which I purchased last December, has already the new screw design! I wonder when they moved to the new screw system...

I want my second Love sooooonnn!!!!

Dear all,

Thank you so much for your kind posts! And I also have to thank you all lovely tpfers for all the info, input, pics, experiences, etc. you shared, which were really helpful making up my mind about those Love Bracelets.

Last year I honestly thought the WG one would be my one and only Love Bracelet. But reading all the posts and watching all the gorgeous pics on the forum made me soon wanting a second one desperately!
This forum is dangerous...(so thinks my DH)

Hi eye candy,

Love love love my bracelets, keep staring at them all day! ;)
They do make some sound together and are quite heavy together, but surprisingly I'm already used to it after one day and normally I'm not a bracelet person at all.
I'm very happy though, that I took the advice of my SA to buy same sizes. Most of the time they tend to stick together, which I don't mind, so the clanking is not bad at all and they don't hit eachother all the time. I tried size 18 as well, but I could slip my hand out without unscrewing, and the clanking and bracelets hitting eachother annoyed me immediately. With one size up it's much more clanking, as they move much more, overlapping and hitting eachother continously. My SA told me that one size up would cause damages for sure.
My WG one has loose screws, but they stick out a little, exactly the same as my RG one. The WG one closes seamless, whereas the RG one has a small space, just above the screw.
I'll attach a pic, but it's very difficult to see...

Buy a second one, you won't regret it! :smile1:

Good to know! Thank you for your reply and the beautiful eye candy pictures. :flowers: Definitely putting a second bracelet on my wish list!

My SA said that they moved to the new screw system three months ago. I'm surprised you already have it! Lucky you. :smile1:

Oh, I see what you mean by the small space on the new system. At first I thought 'huh?' but now I see it. Thanks for sharing!!

Are you thinking of purchasing extra screws for your white gold bracelet? I read somewhere in tPF that the clanking may cause the screws to get loose. I doubt this myself. But oddly enough, people are starting to stock up on extra screws ever since they found out about this new unremovable screw system. My DH gagged when I told him each screw costs $100 now, and people are buying two for safe keeping. He's like "$200? for those those tiny little screws!!"
