Honestly, there is no comparison to the quality of the bags from their luxury line of MICHAEL Kors compared to MICHAEL Michael Kors collection. I would rather buy a used bag from their luxury line, to save money, than a new one from their MMK line, and I have! With no regrets. Once you have one you are hooked! The quality of materials and workmanship is unsurpassed! Although I do own many from the MMK collection. They are very nice too, but having a few from their luxury line is a must!

Great to know I am so tempted to buy one since they are on sale, but I have so many purses I am trying to talk myself out of it!

Well you're talking to the devil now! lol! GO FOR IT!! You will be amazed. The quality is so luxurious. It just makes you feel good. I just adore my bags from the MK collection. I made the mistake of selling one and thought if I made the price high enough for a used bag, that no one would buy it. WRONG! It sold for 500.00! It originally retailed for 1200.00 and I only paid 150.00 for it used. I just couldn't get over the all leather lining and the quality of that bag! I now have another one, in a different style, but from their luxury MK line, I got for a steal, on ebay of course, and I am not selling it this time! lol!

Some of these women never hardly use these bags and the deals you can get are incredible! Even on NEW ones! I just bought the Riley in watermelon with the matching wallet for 137.00 INCLUDING shipping! How old could it be? It just came out. She said it was in perfect condition. I am fortunate because I know what I am looking at, as there sre so many fakes on ebay. It helps to be an authenticator ! lol! I and the other authenticators here, with much help from our friend, Melbo, have literally taken down hundreds of fakes off of ebay. We have taken down several fake websites too! But when you know what to look for, you can get some amazing STEALS! .Even on the luxury MK line. If you ever find a deal on ebay, just post on our authenticity thread and we can tell you if it's real or not!

I agree with you ladies!! :D I like the Mk luxury line better because they have very unique styles bag and the quality is not comparable to MMK. My DH prefers the luxury line better and he often threatens to sell all my other MMK bags. I'm actually planning to cut my MK collection in half. I would rather have a few luxury bags.

It was the fringe MK Collegiate bag that was worn by Jessica Simpson! There is a thread here on the forum I started about it with pics of the actual bag I had, in it. Yes, I got it for only 150.00 on ebay. It is from the luxury line of MICHAEL Kors bags, not MICHAEL Michael Kors. I listed it for 500.00 and it sold in 24 hours! I couldn't believe it! I never thought it would sell and I really didn't want to sell it, but I thought, what the heck, if someone gives me good money for it, I'll take it! lol! It originally retailed for 1200.00! It was kind of heavy for me with the all leather interior lining. anyhow.. Having leather on the outside AND the inside makes for a really heavy bag, so it's just as well.

I absolutely love the look of the Casey, but I passed on it because I knew it would be too tight a fit for my things with that zippered section divider. :nogood:

I still can't believe i got the casey for under $300 after discounts. Also I got the Miranda satchel for $120 and also my color block GIA, I got it basically for $160. I really appreciated that you authenticated all those bags for me ;)

I see a lot of that on ebay. She had no idea what she had. Many of the sellers have no idea even what the style name is. That's how I got my Riley so cheap today. Had she put Riley in the title, it would have bid up for much more. I see many Hamiltons just listed as a leather bag, so when folks are searching for a Hamilton, theirs does not come up in a search and they lose money because of it. Those are the ones I look for! lol! Takes time, but is worth it. I think a lot of them either got them as gifts, or their Moms or sisters gave it to them and they have no clue what they have, or what it is worth. You can find some amazing deals, not just on ebay, but many other sites as well.

But you know that! I've seen many of the great buys you have purchased. You are really good at it!

I think I checked out the large size when I looked at it in store. (I rarely look at small or medium sized bags.) Still too tight a fit for my things.

Funny. I just carried my black Alma for the first time to an outing last night. Love it! Thanks for the compliment on my avatar. :smile1:
