Yes, it is. It does look really blue in that pic. I had my hand next to the window for a pic. It dosen't really look that colour to be honest. I'll post one from jewellery store.

I haven't seen any violet in it and it doesn't say in the appraisal so I don't think so. Thanks very much! I love this ring. My husband and I used a local jeweller and picked out the setting and stone. It took us a year to pay it off but well worth the wait.
